Natural Breakdown is my favorite (jam) band. (local/regional band out of jersey)

they are fucking amazing live, and have a message/vibe/energy that cant be found with any other band.

my favorite jambands would have to be either Panic! At the Disco or possibly My Chemical Romance :p

just kidding... besides grateful dead and phish I'm a big fan of tea leaf green and moe.
Also The New Deal cuz theyre super trippy and from my hometown of Toronto.

Grateful Dead paved the way for the rest of those guys to be able to do their own thing on the level they are at today

We need a new list. The Dead haven't toured in a while and SCI & Phish are toast. Someone start us a new poll. We need to include these bands:

    Grateful Dead
    Widespread Panic
    Leftover Salmon
    Emmitt Nershi
    Allman Brothers
    MOE

    moe gets my vote.

I was bummed they cancelled snoe.down this year due to renovations in Lake Placid, but just found out a couple days ago they're playing at the calvin in Northampton, so I got front row seats, yeah, baby!

I've got some live leftover salmon and a couple of their studio albums. The live stuff rocks! I was a tad disappointed when I saw them though, 'cause they played their mellow stuff. I think it was 'cause it was an older crowd, but I'd still like to catch them again.

    Bisco kicks ass too.

And the Dead, they're the original jam band, it almost seems like blasphemy to compare them to the rest of those guys.
