I do it from time to time. Sometimes intentionally (a 48 hour fast) sometimes it just happens by circumstance (a 24 hour fast). Like, seriously. I'll sometimes go 24 hours between meals. So it's not a planned fast, ot just kinda happens. But sometimes it is planned, and I'll do like 48 hours with nothing but water. Usually after a 64 oz juice of kale, spinach, and cilantro. Just to clean the toxins out of me.
Regular tap water. Coming out of a fast is important too. Like i would start out with just eating fruits and vegetables. Gradually get your body use to eating regular foods again. Especially if your doing this 3 days or more.
The last time I fasted, I had the flu at 103 degrees Oh yeah, and another time I fasted, I was taking Straterra. Had total appetite loss to the point I was puking. Never again will I poison myself with those kinds of pharmaceuticals
Way back in high school I would fast for about 3 months at a time. Intense fasting along with two hour workouts in an 80 degree room six days a week. And that was with a plastic sweat suit. The worse I ever got was eating only one candy bar in five days and one glass of water a day.
fisting? no, i never got into it. oh, no i never really fasted either. i'm not a big snacker so i suppose you could say that i fast between meals, but it's extremely rare that i don't have 2 full meals per day, occasionally more. wrestler? or some other reason?
I'm going to try a light fasting today. It's 9am and I had only one coffee this morning. I don't expect to last 24 hours but maybe I'll eat again at sundown.
Fasting isnt for me, my metabolism is too fast. I can easily drop 5 lbs in a day or two without regular meals
I broke my fast with a big salad last night. This morning, I awoke with so much less hip/back pain. Now, I'm wondering if there is a connection.
Didn't quite make it to 48 hrs as I just ate a snack. Will try this shit again next week, and the week after.
