family vacation,bic lighter,metal detector

i thought if u wrap things in wire tape? i think thats what its called. the black one.. that the alarm wont go off. im not sure though

 

Electrical tape dont stop magnets from working.. or the radio wave fields used by metal detctors..
Different metals make alarms go off.. Lead being the heaviest.. used in Bullets. Brass used in bullets, Steel used in making guns..
Any metal not used in these items will not likely set off a detcector depending on how sensitive they are set..
Look on a metal detector and youll see a dial, wand detectors today are not made to change sensitivity that much, as far as I know the wand at where I work only has
3 mode operating frequencies eliminate interference with other detectors
Momentary low switch helps differentiate between large and small objects..
While a large machine can be set with many different setting.. And go off from metal implants.. I highly doubt kennywood has it set this sensitive.. It would become a pain in the ass having each person set off a detector..

should just take an apple. poke 3 holes, weed on the top. take a plastic lighter. find a spot and pretend like your eating a apple with a lighter

 

heres what i do

take a bic lighter, and hide it in your shoe/sock. put a set of keys or change or something that could go off in your pocket. when you walk through, if it starts buzzing, pull the keys or change out and show them. then they'll just let you in

 

I think Kennywood is a really nice park, I'm just afraid of half the rides there.. lol

 

put the bic in your regualr luggage, theyre not illegal youre allowed to have them

We are tsalking about a lighter here and the last time I checked its not illegal to possess one. Even if a person doesnt smoke they can have a lighter. And Im sure plenty of people would say its a survival tool.. But still its not a knife or gun.. And a list of prohibited items is probable online somewhere..
I dont think you can take your own Ores to row boots in the pond either..

well my store that is basically in my back yard has 2 people that are chill so they let me buy anything i want,just bought rolling papers a pack of cigs and a crack lighter today.

trust me if it was just me and my friends going i wouldn't care but the whole thing is is that i don't want to take my lighter out and my parents see it.

 

Don't you think that a little drastic? I don't think MJ would go off in a metal detector, but if they have sniffing dogs im screwed....doubt it considering that its a amusement park not an airport.

 

No one probably checks this thread anymore but i figured i would update it anyways,well we went to waldamere instead and we were having fun.....met 2 chicks that was nice then we smoked with them,went on the fun house about 20 times lol along with the pirates cove...thats some trippy shit man that fucking room with the orange boxes and that heart beat......DAMN!!!! bad idea to go on that drop thing when your high its not the drop its your nerves before the drop....i mean don't get me wrong the view was awesome but the anticipation was not.......then before we had to meet up with my parents we went on the log jammer a few times to sober up a bit (they are trained to notice that i am high)
