There was a time when a situation like this would have resulted in a bloody civil war, and if it turns out that the Republicans are manipulating the elections and continue to get "re-elected," it wouldn't surprise me if it would cause one.

Yeah, ain't it gonna be ironic if candidates like Nader, Cobb , and Badnarik are responsible for proving that Kerry actually WON? After all the shit that the brainwashed Dems heaped on progressive third parties this time around?

Hopefully, some of the "ABB" crowd will remember which parties had the 'nads to actually push to COUNT THE VOTES, while Kerry bent over and took it up the ass from his fellow bonesman...

I don't think he wan'ts to be credited with destroying the democratic party. Not that I think he would be, this "playing it safe" business has me irritated as well.

That's so beautiful. Even if it doesn't come to anything because of all the fraud it's still nice to know that there may be parties out there that are actually trying. Gives ya a lil faith in humanity.

    hey everyone!

I just read through this thread and wanted to put a few things forward...

First off, I'm a Canadian, and while I don't know tons about this election, I do know more than the average canuck. I'm the yogi bear of canada. The leader of your country affects a lot more than your country... it's important that we all stay informed.

I clearly don't have enough info to say whether or not the election was stolen, but there does seem to be enough information to at least make people look into it.
One little thing though: it seems that one of the main issues that has risen doubt is that the CEO of Diebold is a supporter of Bush... now I don't know about you, but if I were going to try and get away with some shit that I knew would piss people off (ie: rig an election) I'd at least try and do it without involving obviously biased parties. So either it is a coincedence, or it was just a sure thing that it could be gotten away with (in which case we need to kick some shit up!).

oh, and i forgot to ask... does anyone know of any sources that I can read up on re: the electronic votes? It seems really ridiculous to have ballots that can't be recounted...

You can try this site as well-

    http://www.democraticunderground.com/

People are now talking about 90,000 or so more ballots cast in one area of Ohio than actual votes, but I can't find anyarticles on it.
