Ditto - Great ghost story!

I can't say its lies though... maybe, maybe not. I think spirits can be real. Who am I to judge!

 

I've never had a spirit appear to me during my waking hours. I've had a few encounters during my dreams and it was super frightening.

 

Well,my girl friends mom died at 96 4 years ago. All this banging started in her house in a kitchen closet where nothing but cleaning equipment--vacuum,brooms,ect,no electric wires and no plumbing pipes. She was sitting talking on the phone to a friend in Oklahoma and the friend asked "what's that banging noise"? I heard it myself and there's basically no explanation. Except her MA!! The spookiest was this: in her last days,Sally had to sit her mom on the edge of her bed to piss in a pan that she,Sally, would hold. To much trouble to try and get her up because she couldn't walk any more. Sometimes the old lady got piss on the side of the bed ,so Sally would struggle to get her into a wheelchair while she changed the bedding. OK. Now after she died--oh--a couple of weeks or so,Sally went in the room and SAW A WET SPOT in the very place her mom used to piss. No roof leak. No spilled water. Nothin'.

The old lady (?????) still bangs around and changes things to differant locations. Really odd locations that would NEVER be a place Sally would put them. So-----there 'ya go. Who knows why some things happen?

 

i could put this exact post in most of the threads in love and sex.

sad to lose a mother, but i can see where it would greatly improve your sex life..

You know what's weird about peoples claims about ghosts? People have been around for like 150,000 years. But nobody ever claims to run into caveman ghosts. It's always like 19th century or so.

Ork died hunting a mammoth and now he's haunting these grounds.

 

They've all reincarnated.

 

i assume ghosts can only haunt the living for a little while after they've died. ork is haunting those 19th century ghosts we're seeing.

except the virgin mary. now there's a ghost with staying power.

 

I tend to attract all kinds.

I've had a few poltergeists that have been ridiculously stupid, breaking shit around my house and attempting to hit me with things. But I've also had some really sweet ghosts that deliver messages to me and help me find things that are lost.

I guess I attract them...I even attract them at other people's houses. Whenver I leave my best friend's house, the ghost in her house starts acting up like crazy-opening and closing drawers, moving furniture...its pretty insane. I guess I'm like crack to ghosts.

 

I rented a double wide trailer when I was newly married. My wife told me a couple of times that she was woken up by our baby son giggling in his crib in the middle of the night. And that she saw him reaching up as if he wanted to be picked up when she checked on him (looking away from her and into the corner of his room).

I didn't really think anything about it.

Until one night I saw a shadow cross the hallway ceiling heading towards his bedroom.

And then I heard him giggling, myself.

I went into his bedroom to check on him and found him with a big grin on his face.

The next day I asked the manager of the trailer park about the history of the trailer, and she said that an old woman had died in it years before.

I freaked the fuck out and we moved as soon as we could.

But after all these years later, I think back and wonder if I panicked for no good reason. Our baby boy really seemed to like her alot. Or whoever/whatever it was, anyway..

 

My house is about 130 years old, in the city, but it is the original farmhouse for the area now crammed with houses.

We have found odd things in the cellar, like crutches, old snakeoil medicine bottles, even a scalpel. During some renos we found a child's drawing on a piece of wood in the wall.


But no ghosts.

That's because the cavemen are all busy haunting caves. They never lived in the 19th century homes.

And they are so freaked out by us that they are scared. That is my theory.

 

yeah i dont know, but id say definatly something spiritual is happening there...Dude, get out of there...When i was younger i used to think their was someone in my apartment...Hahahah, i was scared shitless.

The house I live in now is the house I was raised in...and it used to be haunted. All throughout my childhood, and when I moved back and brought my son here to live 20 yrs ago, it was still (actively) haunted. Up until about 13 years ago, you could see, hear and/or feel "things" if you just had a little more sensitivity than a piece of wood.

About 3 years ago, I found out that the person who built this house (and lived here) also died here. It is up for debate if it was suicide or not...he died of an overdose in the early 1950's.

You might say I finally learned enough about 13 yrs ago (after much life experience and research) to exorcise the bad ghosties. I still feel "something" sometimes, but it/they is not the bad scary things that were here. (or they learned to be quiet and not piss me off...)

I'm told I pick up psychic stuff. I dunno, but I definitely have some spooky dreams of dark stuff. And old houses often freak me out.. a lot.

A while ago I lived in a really old place which lots of people said had ghosts.
I never picked up a spooky vibe in the main floors, perhaps because it was always busy with people staying there. ( Aura "noise" stopping things being picked up I suppose) Top floor tho, had a real strange vibe. But a nice place otherwise.

Once I stayed in a psychic's house. Her son had killed himself. Cousin refused to stay in there. I did. Weirrrrrrrrddd occurrences in the night...
