Exactly my thoughts.

 

I would like to apologize for any and all of the ignorant/uneducated viewpoints espoused by my "countrymen". Its actually sad that this thread was started in the first place....hopefully it dies a painful death just like all of the people who like to judge others based on superficial/stereotypical pretexts should.

 

There are copy cat artists (some of who are talented), then there are truly great artists. Their art does come from an undescribable place, which could be described as 'nothing'. Of course, I know that art is influenced by time periods and culture. But 'art' is an abstract term, kind of like 'god'. You can define it any way you like, and nobodies definition is wrong.
