gimmie a break. some of the best people I have ever known n the WORLD are from france, including my gf.

but at the same time..people have been bashing americans for re electing bush a second term when france nearly elected a racist president in 2002.

after a while any country looks shitty in foreign policy and its dealings if you dig enough...but most educated people can make the distinction between a shitty leader and the people within the country.

each country has its share of idiots and also well educated/peaceful open minded folks, so enough of the bashing. a person is a person..not their country and its ideals as we all have differing opinions.

But why is it Americans always claim they quote "bailed us out in the World Wars".

Actually what happened was that America built up Hitlers Germany into the monster it was.George Bush's grandfather was actually charged with trading with the enemy ( Hitler) even when the D Day landings were happening.

America had a huge part in creating WW2 - so it could see the dominant powers of Europe destroy each other , with the aim of it taking over as the dominant world power.

After America blew 2 cities off the face of the map , after it had already won a war , to show off , wouldnt it make sense to let Korea or Iran or Timbuctoo strategically reduce the number of fat , deraged pretend Christian religous zealouts who cant spell their own name?

BUT , the forces that got his vote were about the uncontrolled forces of globalism - meaning immigration was reducing working /lower middle class wages and creating major cultural tension in cities.

IM sorry to inform you but russians did 90% of the fight against the germans man power wise . By the time the allies landed in normandy Germanys best equipt best trained elite troops die in the russian soil "AND WINTER" not the germans troops foult but Hitler stupid decision. other wise normandy would had never happen. even with germany bottom of the barrel guarding normandy the allies almost fail. One of the sad things about the Usa is the manipulation of the media by the monied class with the resulting ignorance of most of us here.A few huge conglomerates own pretty much all of the so-called news and parrot the conservative line day in and day out.This country could help to make the peoples of the world happier,healthier and our own citizens educated in a more thorough way.NO___it's become all about the accumulation of wealth and the hell with everyone else including americans ,europeans,africans,ect,ect.Yeah--there's some big changes coming for us.And not good ones ,I'm sure.An ignorant populace is a compliant populace.That's what been made of us.

 

France were one of the countries that didn't support the invasion of Iraq. They threatened to veto any resolution. Wish our country did that but no. Tony Blair decides we must go to war.
