Well I'm glad Italy are out.
Shame Germany and Turkey are still in.

I'm gonna put a bet on Russia to win( wish I had before the Holland game).
If they don't , Spain'll beat Germany in the final.

 

germany disappointed me in the middle of this tournament
they started off really strong and they have a good team
russia is playing really good
so i really hope that in the end it's russia vs germany, i'd cream my jeans

 

What are you talking about, better football? Spain is doing exactly what Brazil usually does (and what won them the 2002 World Cup) which is the strong and intense right-side asskicking.

 

Brazil plays much faster than Spain. You cannot possibly compare European football to Brazilian football. Brazil RUNS, while Spain passes the ball around in the defense until they see a chance to strike. Europeans mostly play off counter-attacks, while Brazil and other Latin teams CREATE the attack.

What the fuck happened this afternoon? I missed the flipping game and I can't fucking believe the score. was it that bad? I can't even bring myself to watch the replays.

 

First half was pretty entertaining, Russia seemed energized and ready to play, yet Spain was quick to hold possession.

Second half was probably the most one sided half in all of the elimination round of this tournament. The score could have easily been 10-0. Russia didn't even have one good attacking play the entire half.

Spain better beat those damn Nazis.
