basically springs inserted into the Fallopian tube to create scarring that should seal the tubes off. It's done without cutting, just cervical dilation. that's what appeals to me. I also found Quinicrine which is synthetic quinnine and it can chemically cause the scars. still looking....
I just had this procedure done last Monday. It only took like twenty minutes and the cramping only lasted the day.
I just wanted to let you know what happened to me. I had the procedure done July of 2006. I am still in pain as of today and need to have a major surgery to have part of tubes removed because of the pain. The major problem is the cost of the birth of my second child, now trying to find the money to have all this other stuff done. Conceptus makes the prodecure sound so good, but be prepared that something may go wrong. Please just consider all aspects before having this done. Thanks.
My daughter had this procedure done May 28 of this year, after the birth of her 3rd son. She has had nothing but problems..pain,excessive bleeding, and other things. The doctor that did the procedure let her go on this way until she lost the insurance coverage that she had when she had the baby..her husband`s new insurance will not pick up because it is a pre-existing condition. Now the doctor tells her she needs a hysterectomy, but she will only do it if she has $2,000 dollars up front.Hardly any other doctors in this area have even heard of this procedure! Any suggestions? We are trying every avenue we can find to get her back to normal, including legal.Hah!
it sounds really fishy to me, drumminmamma. i had an iud, which is tested, supposed to be safe, etc. and my body just simply didn't like the fact that i had metal in my body. i could taste the metal, i could feel it, and it caused a LOT of pain. when i had it removed, no more pain, no more yucky metal taste, etc. not saying this is the same thing, but it might be. i know you're into having natural things on and in your body, and that might be something to consider for you. plus everything that everyone else has said from a medical perspective, i agree with, having worked in hospitals and such. any kind of internal intervention of this sort is quite risky, IMO.
I had the Essure Procedure Done Back on Feburary 2. It was VERY painful when they done my right side. I wanted to kick that doctor in the face it hurt so bad. Since then I have had Emminse pain, cramps and spasms. I have bled Ever since then, sometimes light and sometimes I drop HUGE blood clots. When the bleeding is at its worse I am very anemic and Very dizzy. I have bled ever since I got it except for a week and a half this summer. I am not happy about my outcome at all, and Like you I have not found alot of support for people who had bad experiences. I think Essure was a bad Idea and I want my sex life back with my husband :toetap05: Let me know if you ever found anything else on it.
dont' take offense, she's a supermod and has to deal with a lot of the issues that come up with the "single post" types, the ones who troll, not the ones who came across a topic and joined to give info like you did. she's really nice, actually.
ots cool. I haven't ever heard of that form of birth control. I will check it out. But at this point i want these sprngs out of my fallopian tubes. I hear most docs just want to give you a hystorectomy if you want them out.
I should have gotten my tubes tied but I have never been cut open and I tought by getting the Essure that It would be better cause there would be ni scar. Well now its looking like They are going to have to take my tubes and ovaries out. Then I get the scar, early menopuase, daily horomones, and osteoperosis. I REALLY should have just got the ligation! Going back to the doc this week.
