I don't like listening to much live music though anyway unless I'm at the show. Hasn't ever done anything for me really listening to a live album. If I want to hear someone sing out of key, out of tune and the wrong lyrics I'll just sing and listen to myself.
Except Weylon Jennings of course, who can flat out miss and entire verse of his songs and just down some guitar and somehow make it sound better than the original.
I also feel like bands just want you to like a live album, because they get lazy for a couple of years and realise they need to release something, so they come out with the live album that everyone goes and buys. Never really got that concept myself, I'd rather just burn of a "best of" mix.
I thought this was a studio release the first couple times I heard it, so maybe they need a backup symphony to perform well live. I think the radio started it at 30 seconds in usually.
run, definately run, opened for fox amoure last furcon i was at. (the term) metal (as a genre of "music?") i think came from lalo's metal hurlant. never understood the point of being so loud as to be unintelligable, but i had to admit run, definately run, were fun. (have to admit, as a privelege of old fartage, not keeping up)
