It's hard to be like "poor baby" considering you COULD have killed someone, including yourself. I am sorry that you think you shouldn't have gotten a ticket for something like that, and the only way you can excuse it is by talking shit about the cop's sex life. Not that I think any less of you for it, but in this case I'd say you deserved that ticket.
I never drive without my lights on though it was just a weird night and it just got dark and my parking lights were on I just didn't pull the thing out all the way. If you could see the cop you would be right up there making fun of him with me
yeah I don't like cops like that. I do however find the cops who come out when I truley need help incredibley sexy. I am definitley into that whole being rescued thing but not the given a ticket thing.
shit, the cops here would sooner let your ass die than help. When I was still with my ex, we were up in atlanta at the VPH and for some stupid reason they decided to smoke. I don't smoke, so a couple of cops were spying on us and busted everyonebut me. I was like 17, didn't have a license and didn't know my way around atlanta, and I also lived an hour away, anyway. They took them to jail, and I BEGGED those assholes to at least drop me off at a payphone because there's nothing but ghetto behind the VPH but they told me to take a cab. And then smiled about it. I was left in the middle of ATL at 3 a.m. with prostitutes, junkies, drunks and rapists. I thought a cops duty was to "protect and serve" not "leave a young girl in the middle of the ghetto then come scrape her dead body off the pavement after she gets mugged, raped and beaten." Fucking bastards. I finally got some drunk ass dude to give me directions home (remember, no license and I'd never driven on the interstate before) but I had to give him a ride before he's tell me. LOL, I drove like 20 MPH with my door cracked just in case he tried anything, so I could throw myself out of the car. He also had to pump my gas for me cuz I had no idea how to do it. Cops suck.
oh my god that's awfull. The cops here always help when you need it. When I lived by myself the neighborhood was horrible and I called them out at least once a month and they were pretty helpful. I couldn't imagine being in that situation how scarey for you.
haha, that prob cuz you live in CA and I'm living in a redneck hole. the cops here suck fucking balls
Well better a ticket than being so pressurised because of the truck driving into your car leading your steering wheel to push against your front and the seat pressing in your back that your brains pop out of your eyesockets, right?
It seems ignorant of you to start making aspersions against this cop, i.e. he's a virgin taking out his aggression on you by giving you a ticket. You fucked up! Plain and simple. To a cop, a person driving at night without lights on is VERY suspect for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs -- this is clinically the truth, that they are more likely to be doing that. Were you under the influence of alcohol or drugs? Why did you not have your lights on? Why blame anyone else for getting pulled over for it when YOU were the one who could have simply switched on your lights? Didn't it seem odd to not be able to see the dashboard gauges in the dark?? That cop might well have saved your life. It would be very easy for someone to pull out in front of you because you were driving with your lights off, and then you/they could be DEAD. And it would be YOUR fault. I passed someone just last night who was pulling out of a side street onto a main busy street with his lights off. He was some old fuck. He was across the street from me, so he was really more of a threat to the traffic that was going the other way from me. But still, because he had his head up his ass, he was a danger to anyone on the road. If an oncoming car had hit him, they might have both come into MY lane and hit ME. And then I'd have had to fuck him up big-time for ruining my car/day. When you screw up, take your lumps, Lynsey. It's part of being a big girl. -Jeffrey
Oh, grow up! Guns are not some sort of evil, haunted items with evil spirits living in them. They're inanimate objects. Isn't what you're afraid of violence? People don't need guns to do that. Are you afraid of jackhammers? They make a loud noise too. You afraid of baseball bats and kitchen knives? They're used to kill people too! (And it's probably a LOT worse to die by baseball bat than by gunshot.) It's up to YOU to get a handle on your irrational fears. To have a phobic crying reaction to a COP with a gun.... just who WOULD you trust with one, then?? -Jeffrey
Shows what you know. If kissing a little ass of some authoritarian prick is what will get you off for the ticket, that's what you do. Then you have the satisfaction of having given him an insincere apology for something, and getting what you wanted, which is excused from the ticket. But no, you make it into a little petty power game, all about egos, rather than about not getting the ticket. Are you saying that if he didn't have the GUN that made you CRY, you would have... what? Beaten him up? Driven off? The simple factual truth is he didn't use the GUN to have power over you, little girl. You are making every bullshit excuse in the book to avoid taking the lumps that you deserve to take for having screwed up. Driving with your lights off is not a simple harmless thing like driving 70 instead of 55 on the open highway. Who gives a shit if you "contribute to society" in a zillion other ways?! Does that excuse you from obeying common sense rules of the road?? Your own reaction shows how irrational you are capable of being. Introducing your "value to society" as exculpatory evidence for driving with your lights off at night... Where is your brain? If ya'd killed someone because they pulled out in front of you because they couldn't see you, could you bring them back to life because you contribute so much to society? -Jeffrey
Well... ya FUCKED UP and then proceeded to bitch out the cop instead of OWNING UP TO IT. What did you expect? Do all your friends simply tell you you're right all the time even when you're wrong, just to keep you from going off like a bomb? What wonderful, good friends you have, to never help you realize when you've made a mistake. If you're really 23, it's time for you to start growing up and being responsible and honest with yourself. -Jeffrey
That SUCKS, and those cops WERE assholes. You should have gone to the state D.A. and leveled a complaint against them, because I'm pretty sure that what they did is against policy for most police, especially big-city police who have all kinds of rules to abide by (for fear of getting sued, which is exactly what you should have done to them). There would have been a police report about your friends' arrests, to help you prove that they left you there, a MINOR, without offering any help getting out of a dangerous situation. -Jeffrey
its just too bad you werent totalled by a semi so we wouldnt have had to read the utter stupidity contained in your posts
