Erections- A double standard

What I find funny about this topic is that whenever it comes up in nudist circles, no one ever mentions that it's honestly quite visible when someone with a vulva is aroused. I've chided plenty of my cis-female friends about it when it happens to them if they'd already teased me about whether I'm going to get an erection when we were first getting undressed. All in good fun between friends of course. Nothing mean spirited. But confuses me to no end how any adult cis-females have made it that far into life without noticing how very noticeable it is from any reasonable distance.

 

Let’s reformulate the question…

“For the women:
Women get a bad wrap from social media and society in general regarding nipple erections. As women we all know that. We are told to cover it up or go for a swim. It’s hypocritical to be at a nude resort or nude beach where everybody is naked to begin with and express dislike in seeing nipple erections.

“For the men out there:
Why would you not want to see a woman’s nipple erection at a nude resort or campground if she is not touching you with it? Secretly, I believe men like seeing it, but are prudish to some degree.”

Yes, it is humorous because then you’d get the comments that nipples should be covered up because there is no sexuality at any nudist resort and erect nipples can’t be tolerated.

Suddenly the conversation switches. Wait, just because a woman’s nipples get hard doesn’t mean she’s sex crazed. Perhaps a towel brushed against them, maybe even a breeze stimulated her nipples to become hard.

How insane does the conversation need to become?

Purists should go equally apoplectic over erect nipples as erect penises. But, the plain fact is both nipples and penises can become erect for non-sexual reasons. So, if you are going to have a fit over one, you should have a fit over the other.

Erections happen to both men and women, and you really can’t say what the cause is. Now, a guy stroking himself, or a woman rolling/twisting/tugging on her nipples, IS that overt sign. Resorts can prohibit that. And it definitely should be prohibited where there are children present.

My wife and I are pretty much libertines. Human beings are sexual by nature and we find being nude and sexual a mutually satisfying experience.

The nudist that tries to separate sexuality from what are clearly sexual beings is fading away. That philosophy doesn’t even make sense.

 

Personally I love seeing a woman's nipples. And if they are erect even better. It was rather chilly during this morning's run. My running partner joked about how her nipples were trying to rip through her sports bra. I joked back that she was almost poking my eyes out and with the chill in the air my penis was NOT going to be ripping through the fabric of my running shorts. We met up again later at a nearby hot spring. The roles were reversed. No erect nipples on her part but while we were talking about travel and food she pointed out that my penis was very erect. I joked that the discussion about food is what did it. More than likely it was the nearly perfect air and water temperature this morning. Who knows. At least we are good enough friends to have a sense of humor about it.

 

I'm on the 'large' side even when flaccid and it looks like a Semi all the time.

 

Shame is the main reason that erections are not that common in nudist settings. I have been a nudist for many many years. I have been to all different types of nudist places. Some being family oriented and some more adults only and more "liberated". Even at the family oriented clubs, after a certain time things get to be more adult oriented. The crazy thing is that even at swingers resorts, "most" men still are shy about being erect unless they are directly engaged in sex. This is strange to me. Why men are so culturally shamed for the state of their penis. As long as you are not being creepy "towards" anyone, who cares if you are erect or not. I am working on liberating my mind from this shame. The more I do so the more my penis does what it will. I don't stroke it or anything, but I allow myself to become aroused. The sun, the wind, looking at my beautiful wife naked and or other beautiful women nearby, even the idea of my erection being seen is both embarrassing but also erotic. It sort of feels like the first time I was naked. I felt vulnerable, yet invigorated. Being a naturist does not mean that I am no longer a sexual being. I agree that nudist setting are not inherently sexual, but that does not mean it has to be purged of all sexuality. Our last vacation at an adults only nudist resort, I allowed myself to become erect while walking around the resort. I must say it felt nice. I think the best feeling was to be able to just be natural without shame. There were a few others that did the same, but only a few.
