and do you not have any narcissistic traits? glad to hear you aren't speaking in absolutes, because it certainly sounded that way. do you ever think that the overly made up woman is insecure and thinks she is ugly so she tries to make herself feel better? or that the person who looks different may also BE different? In some cases I absolutely agree with you, they are being attention whores, but I think there are many different stories going on behind the scenes
Younger people who are truly individualistic don't fall into peer groups because they don't try to fit into any particular group (goth, emo, jock, preppy, yuppie, etc..). I have been an outsider all my life and have never wanted to be accepted into any peer group, and I never have. I hate belonging to groups, let alone ones based on image and looks. It's just not me, nor should it be for anyone who is truly an individual. Yes, I think overly made up women are insecure, as do I think the same about "men" who do the same to hide their natural appearance with makeup and excessive piercings and tattoos and such.
so now we aren't allowed to use labels as descriptors? calling someone emo is on par with calling someone a hippie to me.
nevermind. was just gonna post a picture of emo phillips. was funny at the time, but my annoyance has killed the funny for me.
would that be the one thats incredably hurt and intense on him all the time, I heard he had counselling from Big Bird S
Thanks so much, but I'm less cute in the flesh:& I admit that I don't love the emo scene, but why should I get all bent out of shape just because they look funny? I need to worry about why I look funny.
