Another embarrassing fact: I like bad movies. It's like...I know they're not going to win awards and are really cheesy and stupid, but I still like them. It's a guilty pleasure.

 

I don't think that this is so obnoxious. obnoxious would be if you baited them into hitting on you for the sake of turning them down. or if you assumed that they were hitting on you when they weren't

from the way you described it, they were fairly explicit in their intentions.

unless they have open relationship agreements, it's shitty of them to be hitting on someone

if turning them down gives you an ego boost, I don't think that is a problem.

 

I'm overweight

it embarrasses me a lot

but I take comfort in knowing that if I really want to change it I could...it's not like a lot of other problems people have that cannot be reversed.

 

Me too. I started working out almost two months ago and I've lost 17 lbs. It's not so hard :daisy:

 

I am also overweight, mainly because of taking the drug Zyprexa (Olanzapine) for Schizoaffective Disorder. I would switch to another antipsychotic, but Zyprexa is the only one strong enough to adequately control my raging paranoid delusions as well as my auditory threatening hallucinations.

Luckily, since I was switched from Ritalin to Vyvanse (Dextroamphetamine) for associated mental issues, I have lost 10 pounds in a month! So I am hoping to get back to 'normal range' weight by the end of Fall. I would have to go from 195 (now) to 177, which is very feasible.

 

I can lose 5 pounds just by taking a shit and staying thirsty for a few hours

 

I'M OVERWEIGHT FOR MY SIZE I'M ONLY LIKE 5'2 AND WEIGHT IN THE 200s

5'11" tall here. It is a decent, average height. And I carry my overweight very well. It is all in my gut. My face, arms, legs, etc. are all still slim. But, like i said, I plan on getting down to 180 by the end of the Fall Semester this year! Go Dextroamphetamine!
