Nope, I know its embarrassing, but i'm still young tho

 

i do all the time..its not your kind of rash...I have very sensitive skin and certain soaps are really bad for me if they have perfumes in them

It makes sense to me once I really thought about it. 15/16 of my ancestry is from the British Isles (Irish, English), and upon investigating the average temperatures of that region, I was surprised to find how significantly cooler it is there compared with the Mid-Atlantic USA. Ireland rarely gets over 83 degrees F (which it has gotten that hot here in January before...), and England rarely gets over 90 deg F (which it can reach here any time from March through November).

So, I figure I am evolutionarily primed to live in a British Isles climate, and my body rejects the USA climate. Strangely, though, the sun doesn't bother me. I rarely ever burn and tan way darker than the average British descended person. More like a Northern Italian or something.

 

I know, right? Apparently this is a not uncommon condition for middle-aged men, but it seems not to happen to women. Life is so unfair, innit?

Are you a red head? I can only use SafeGuard soap because it doesn't leave behind residue. I have super super pale skin and ANYTHING irritates my skin, even certain laundry detergents...it sucks.

Embarrassing AND gross.

I had this huge zit on my nose in high school one time and didn't want to pop it cuz I thought it would go away... Well... I was horsing around with a buddy after school, jumping off the railing, play fighting, shadowboxing, whatever you want to call it, and he ended up swinging me around, head first into another friend's backpack. When I turned around and smiled at my buddy, he had just this look of horror on his face right before he started laughing. I didn't know what was going on until I put my hand on my face. I ran to the bathroom completely embarrassed. lol he was kind enough to check on me tho and ask if I was okay. I still have a scar on my nose from it.

Jazz music makes me nervous for some reason. ._.

 

Before I started playing as a jazz bassist, I used to feel the same way. It seemed so frantic and speedy. But, once I started playing, and once I got into a real jazz band and we play live, it is totally different. The act of playing jazz with other people is incredibly relaxing and mindfully comforting.

I understand what you mean, though. You also are probably listening to what is called "Post Bop Jazz" which is very up-tempo, syncopated, and sometimes jarring music. Try listening to regular "Bop" jazz like Miles Davis from the mid 1950s (his 1960s jazz is Post Bop, though) or The Dave Brubeck Quartet.
