I think any serious comparison between Frank and Miley is just silly. Even comparing who they choose/chose to work with.....we'd be using the word "work" differently in both scenarios. I think Frank would roll over in his grave if he knew what passed for "work" in the music business these days.

 

Frank knew what was up in the plastic world of pop music, he even wrote odes to hairband rock gods and their fanatical fans then he made Terry Bozzio sing it!
Just replace Punky Meadows with Miley cirrus and Terry Bozzio with Elton john for this one...:-D

I needto dig out a poem,ode i wrote to Elton when i was a teenager....and I used to sit on the roof of my house....Your Song blasting from my stereo.....and I would sing and look at the stars....that got me through many hard times.....

 

I wrote a letter to Metallica once.

For you, I would say in Zappas catalog would find some stuff you would hate, some you wouldn't care for, some you would find offense, some that was ok, some that's pretty cool, and finally some stuff you might find ecstatically beautiful.
