Electric Cars

Discussion in 'Dreadlocks' started by enayes, Jun 13, 2009.

  1. I just don't get why some consumers love oil so much. It's almost like a child to some people. What we need is a good advertising campaign for electricity, to make it look totally badass -- remind people that it's deadly and dangerous.

this thread has finally got me to register, il post some pics of my dreads later but in the mean time

I cant believe some of you honestly think that dumping trillions of tones of CO2 etc into the atmosphere since the industrial revolution has not affected our climate...

I read a few pages back about sun cycles... this is due to proton repulsion withing the atoms of hydrogen making up the sun. This causes the sun to shrink and grow over many millions of years. It is at its hottest when it is at its smallest due to more collisions between atoms. At this point in time our sun is meant to be growing this means our climate should be getting colder... research for this disappeared when a scientist claimed the sun was getting smaller and he was proved wrong so i don't know how easy it will be to find information on this.

and another person claiming that hydrogen fuel is the way forward that may be the case but it is far from safe... in fact i would rather a modern day nuclear power station in my car rather than a can of pressurised hydrogen.
