- "Hold that thought" - All it takes is one, definitive act to derail a precariously run train upon a uncertain travel journey from carrying on
Mis-Quoting my post eh? - That's a Tory trait if ever I knew one - and the calibre of ones' character I stand with my Convictions and Convictions - for as any good Rebel knows, "Persistence, is never futile"
In today's Yougov poll, the agency that predicted the current hung parliament, Corbyn ties with May as to who would make the best Prime Minister. Whatever happens, the momentum is increasingly Labours'. As I see it, it's only a matter of time.
- Well my friend, - I said:- Tory trait and not, 'Typical' Tory - (see what happens when editing a quote that is not your own) (?) I guess we'll have to agree to differ - you think it's all over, I believe it is not - and in the end, time, will tell
Vicar's daughter or not, I think she'd do a deal with the Devil himself if she thought it would allow her to remain in power. Probably though her own party will remove her before long. This deal with the DUP though is interesting. My local tory MP who won again this time but with a reduced majority, is openly gay. I don't know how that squares with the DUP's homophobia. I would imagine that some tories, the more socially liberal ones, may not be exactly comfortable with it. And no woman should be, given their stance on abortion rights. Likewise those like me who are concerned about climate change aren't going to cheer much. It's not clear how this will impact the still unstable situation in N.Ireland. We'll have to wait and see.
I know very well what you meant I just thought you would Be savvy enough to Understand that what I was saying was that I couldnt have Tory Traits When I was not a Typical tory and only voted for them Because I believe that Corbyn cant Deliver what he is Promising Everybody !
We will have to see about a lot of things it seems ? Remain lost the brexit vote SNP lost their indy ref Labour lost the election Is it a new British thing to keep voting till the moaners get what they want ? To be clear I would have been happy ( and kept quiet about it ) If labour had won But they DIDN'T and all the name calling in the world wont change that
Right - But I don't think the fact they won is going to put an end to people talking about it. Or convince anyone (other than die hard tories of a certain type) that May is anything but an incompetent opportunist. Stability she said - instability is what we've now got.
I love how people complain about the coalition with the d.u.p... saying they are immoral and the conservatives only have a minority By then suggest an alternative queens speech Containing two groups that wants the break up the union, two groups that wants to hold a second ref, with s minority gov that has a spend till your drop agenda. To me, that is bar far more ill equipped. I understand the gay rights thing is important, but no offence, losing the union is more important than that st this time. And I say this because Ruth Davidson may have a problem with it, but end of the day she does not live in Ireland and that particular area of policy will not effect her so long as she doesn't move. tbh I kind of want labour in to teach the younger voters how awful a high spending labour government is
N Ireland voted the for the d.u.p so in effect the name calling at the moment is patronising and at most slightly racist. Ireland as a whole has its own views
