    are you guys talking about me? ...damn.....i was more along the lines of asking than telling. i didn't really get where you all were coming from with this so i explained my understanding of it in hopes that someone would either agree with me or correct me but damn...my bad.

    They weren't talking about you ;). I think there's a difference between Freud's Ego and the common definition of ego though.
