It Was, It's All Over Folks, Move Along, Nothing To See Here, Just Another One Of Mr Gearloose's Lame Little Jokes.... Cheers Glen.
Just another event for consumerism.... Apparently lots of people paid lots of bucks for tourism to the Mayan temples. We had a lot of people come to Ohio to stay at the Serpent Indian Mounds.
Form some strange reason I am reminded of an old sci-fi movie , " the world the flesh and the devil . In the movie this miner is traped under ground for a week while most of the people die from from germ war fair . In the movie he plays a tape with the last minuts of a radio broadcast , it goes " do I leave the station on , or off , I can see the cloud of posin " then it goes slient . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_World,_the_Flesh_and_the_Devil_(1959_film) desert rat p.s. I think this is it but I dont have flash player set , but will later , let me know if this is something else . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxrmTHF08AM"]The World, The Flesh and The Devil Trailer - YouTube
That's a nice thought ...... By the way what’s that bright light streaking across the sky? Is that a meteor, or something or what?..............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
how have i never been there? I love that kind of stuff. rt 73 is my favorite "for the hell of it road". It's weird to think that people are visiting it from abroad just because of the mayan calendar thing.
Hello, finally they brought me back. Wosh, that was a ride, man. You should have seen all the colours and the lights and stuff. And yeah, they really use unobtainium to build their machines. And no, they don't have three boobs. So, thanks for playing in this thread . We see us at the next doomsday scenario. Regards Gyro
Yes, indeed. When I posted that photo, I forgot to mention that I had set my time machine coordinates to 'The end of the Maya calendar', and not specifically to 12-21-12. I'd just assumed it was tomorrow at that point in time.
If I had not all ready lived through some "end of the world " days I might of takking this serious . I bet there are people waking up in bunkers thinking thoughts like " did any thing happen? " , " is it save to look out side? " "I can live for years on all this food , but what do I do with all this ammo ?" , ect. desert rat
the people who hadn't lived through any "end of the world" days before this would be 12 and under, so i would be impressed if they were able to procure bunkers, years worth of food, and ammo.
You didn't get one of those "It's the end of the world and all I got was this lousy T-shirt" t-shirts did you? I heard some people paid like $1,600 a piece for a "Last night on Earth" supper and hotel room stay in Vegas. I bet they were pissed off this morning, lol.
For the record I will post these dates again , as I have posted on other forums stating " 12/21/2012 is the end day" . On 7/7/77 they said all the big planets were lining up and there gravity would tear the earth apart . There were maps in the mid 90s with most of north America flooded . A few people stating that CA(USA) would break off in to the ocean .( all the people moving there I guess ) On 1/1/2000 the computers were to crash . 5/5/2000 , some thing( my 43 b.d.) A few preachers have picked dates that have came and went . Now 12/21/2012 is in the history books as a " non event " Unless we were all moved to a space ship that looks like the earth at the very last minute while we were all asleep . desert rat
