eat pig but not a mouse?

    pigs are actually very clean animals and given the proper chance they keep themselves and their living space very clean. they roll in mud only to keep their skin cool (no sweat glands) and the pigs raised for food are kept in horrible conditions where they are forced to live and stand in their own excrement.

    edit: chickens are also forced to live in their own waste most of the time

    I don't understand the title of this thread.. :confused: Eat pig but not mouse? What's the connection there? Does eating pork mean you should just eat whatever crawls into your dish? :confused:

    No, it's a question... which do you eat, and why? What makes it okay to eat one animal, but get all squeamish about another?
