East Coast Hipforum gathering?

Thats getting more midwest than east coast and you have to remember, where ever it is will probably end up leaving a few people excluded because of location. Indiana is an awfully large state too, I'm sure if her parents are that strict there would be other hoops to jump through.
Hopefully this can be an annual event and she will be able to come to one in the future. Hell, we gotta get this one off the ground first, hehe

hey man,, i been pushin forum gatherings for 5 years now,, most that have ever came for one is 3,,, but hey 15 said they were comin..

 

Thats very typical actually. I was gonna have a houseful from the old chat last summer but it all fell apart at the last minute and I've tried more than once to get us together. A few of us (6ish) managed but it was impromtu.
One reason I think it would be great to have it at a smaller show or a national park. That way, if its a bust there will be something the few that DO show up have something they will enjoy going on. Some fest sites would allow people to come a few days earlier than the show. I'm sure Sunshine Daydreams would let us...just need to make a call.

I live in Ohio but I go to WV almost every weekend - have it in WV! I love my home state!!!

 

OK...listen up folks! From what I gathered so far, costs and distances, it comes down to HHB's place which he so graciously offered or SunshineDayDreams campground in Terra Alta WV... the latter may wanna kick down of something but it won't be like the costs of a park and maybe we could do it before the week of a fest.....I would still have to call the brothah and ask...

 

I can never have enough "sunshine" or "daydreams", the mind's skies succumb to a fragrant blessed balance while the two intertwine. As a West Virginian who has to travel to a large majority of gatherings, shows, or much of anything dare I complain under these circumstances? The funny thing is I might be moved out of state by then (spring), love the irony!!!

WV isn't midwest but theres alotta ppl seems like that are mostly SE or midwest that are making noises that wanna go...seems like I haven't seen much past PA voicing anything about wanting this so far....I may have missed it but....

well nothings definate yet, but we do have that amazingly beautiful spot in west virginia availible & i'm planning on being there for a good long time in the spring, ..so just keep it in mind..

 

Hey-I'd be all about going to a hipforums gathering. Earthy Mama is one of my best friends so she'd be in too. I know pretty many people in my area that'd be interested.

west virginia is awesome .....its a drive from here ....but such a cool state .
