the same type of ambushes are going on right now along the US/Mexican border(drug war). Other the Ied explosion they are very similar, in sound and chaos factor .. I dont approve of the comments left of the ebaums page, due to the fact this is their home and NOT OURS.. Respect thine enemy, so some day we may all be friends..atriot:
If you ever get so drunk you feel like your decision making skills are hindered... just hit me up and I'll give you a ride home
I recommend taking a little jail time, instead of the standard 18 months probation they hand out in CO for first time DUI's and all the pain-in-the-ass stipulations that come with it. It's ALOT cheaper and you won't have some self righteous PO breathing down your neck for a year and half.
She had a person that is laughingly called one. She was never actually driving when she got them. Just sitting in a car--with the keys in the ignition drinking a beer.
^ In my state you have the option to do the weekends if you have a job. The only reason I can think of any interference jail-time would have. And with a DUI first it's only 48hours, or whatever time you have remaining from the night they took you in (assuming they booked you the night of the DUI). It was a learning experience for me. I had just turned 18 and got mine. Parents wouldn't pay for anything. Here are some of the expenses/penalties I occured - 48 hours jailtime, approximately 5,000 fines/court costs, drug and alcohol classes $150, driving school - $50, probation $600, picking my vehicle up from the towing yard $70, and then the sr-22 insurance they make you have for one year in order to get your regular back -$500 (but that is just liability (car was paid in full, and doesn't cover shit).. I believe that is it. It's a money thing like anything else, but it'll make you think twice the next time you consider drinking and getting behind the wheel. I hardly drink anymore because of it.
Damn, I got arrested, went to court, put on probation, sent to drug classes, and it cost me $0. Thank you Connecticut!
One of my friends was convicted of DUI. He was drunk and driving his drunk friend home as a favor. One of his headlights was burned out, which gave a cop reason to stop him. Then everything fell apart. He lost his job because of it, paid fines, had to go to rehab classes. A big mess. .
