I don't agree with those checkpoints, but where I live the local newpaper tells where they are going to be set up, so with a little effort it is easy to take a different route and just go around them.

same here, and its on the news, and they are always set up on the outskirts of town where I never go. Never even seen one here, the only one I ever went though was in Santa Fe New Mexico in 1994 and I had to drive though it 3 times sober due to its placement, took fucking forever

While i do believe that some cops are assholes and take their having a badge a bit to far. i was just venting about cops in my forum because of the way the interrogate people and how stupid people are that actually talk to them spilling their beans based on lies that the cops are telling them. Its ok for a cop to lie to you about certain facts when questioning you.
Except for a few things about Cops I like them and respect them. In fact I find them VERY attractive in their uniforms.

 

well, new mexico has an epidemic drunk driving record. just to get a license you have to go through this day long "don't drink and drive" class that costs you $30 or some shit. pfft. i understand it in new mexico. it IS that bad.
