driving high

The only time I drove high was in drivers training, I only have my permit now and if I'm high and my mom asks me if I want to drive I'll probably refuse. It's gonna take me forever to get all those hours in. Driving's fun though. Drive is starting to sound like a very weird word now.

 

i drive high all the fuckin time. driving sober is way to boring now. i dont see way people think its so bad. ill tell a friend that i went for a drive and smoked a good 'ol j or three and he'll be like, 'man, your a insane.'then ill be like sighhh. although smoking a bowl can get a little hairy around those turns, however, but nothing close to a crash for me, and sometimes while smoking a joint and when your lighting it you fuck up so theres still good shit hanging on it and you dont want to tap it out the window and you have to grab your pack of cigs and tap it in there, to save it for later, that can get a little nerve racking, but its all good. im blazed right now, haha, and in btwo seconds im going to go roll some WEED and go for a drive and smoke IT and be perfectly fine. (watch, your all going to be reading my post in 'Busted' about how i killed 4 cops while running from them while smoking a blunt)

 

I've driven high quite a few times since the 60s. Heck, one time I drove on shrooms (HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED). Shrooms can make 5 miles turn into 35.

 

i hate driving high.. especially when there's a lot of people in the car
i'll be driving, then start talking or laughing and then start swerving to the other side of the road
and my foot always feels too weak to hit the pedal haha

 

if you pay very good attention
and if you are infact a stoner and know how to handle your high i think its not bad
ive done it a couple times but ive drivin with others millions of times while baked
i think it depends on the individual
some people know how to focus and know when to take things seriously when theyr high
others dont care about shit and theyr the ones that are gonna be takin the bus the next time

 

i only drive around the neighborhood usually. but then again i like hotboxing while i'm driving. but i don't do that anymore. lol

 

I drive stoned all the time... I've been in 3 accidents, all while sober. I think If anything I'm more careful high, I tend to speed a lot less. It's not like, a concious thought, it just feels like you're going faster when you're high I guess.

I drove on shrooms once... I can't say I "recommend" it, but at the same time, I was on this country road with lots of trees, and it felt like they all closed up to make a tunnel just for me... pretty cool. I think I was going about 10 MPH tho lol.

 

Man, after reading this I wasnt really sure if I wanted to mention that I've drove high before, just because I don't feel it makes me a better driver, or that driving sober is boring, or anything else that anyone said here. No offense, just didn't sound "right" haha.

I've drove on weed, shrooms, and lsd. Weed is second nature, you just have to know what the difference is between the two, do some driving in on back roads and otherwise abandoned areas til you get the hang of it. Driving on Shrooms is a wasted trip, on different levels. Just walk somewhere, it's much better, same applies to lsd.

Also, use common sense, if you can't see straight, how the hell are you going to drive?

Unlike some of you, I'm no stranger to driving, I've proabably put nearly 100 000 kms on the road in the past few years, spread along two Toyotas. I put in about 130km's a day as it is right now, and I used to travel about 200km daily for school, plus weekends and whatever else travelling i've done, I think its very important to be a comfortable driver before doing much driving under the influence of anything. I do understand that some 30 year olds are going to pwn me with figures, but so be it. lol.

Yeah i agree. Though i don't drive THAT fast in a 30mph zone lol. But when im driving high I just drive the speed limit cause i check the speedometer more and it feels like Im goin a bit faster.

Speed is relative to driving conditions, want to hear a fucked up story which, imo being a safe and cautious driver not only when high but sober as well saved me alot of bullshit? ok

so me and some buddies are blazing, we smoked 2 grams and had 2-3 beer each, now I for one never speed, like ever unless the situation warants it

so we toke, and then we roll out, as i'm driving my buddy home, a street where i've probably driven i dunno, 5000 times? i'm going probably 35km/h which at 1.30am is pretty slow, considering i see kids ripping down the street that I live on at maybe 160km/h at those times

anyways, i'm driving my buddy home when all of a sudden i see this big fluffy dog dart out into the street, i was able to swerve slightly in my reaction and then "BOOOM"

the way i saw the dog, and the sound it made i was just thinking "Fuckkkk..no..." a cat, whatever, a bunny, whatever, but I'm a big Dog guy, so when this happened i felt pretty shitty and really hoped for the best, my buddy who was kinda tweakin was like "Wooooo fuck wtf, your in deep shit!"

already in defense mode i was like "huh?...deep shit?..fuck i'm just driving off man" too scared to face an owner who, if was me would be infuriated

but in my hasteness i felt too bad, and quickly turned around to go back up the street, where I saw, what apeared to be the dog i hit, followed by 2 other dogs

my buddy, once again tweaking was like "MAN THAT DOG IS HURT WHY ARE THEY ACTING WIERD LIKE THAT???? THAT DOG IS HURT!"

i was like wooo..chill...your tweakin me out, but to my relieve i saw all these 3 dogs walkin down the street like nothing happened, one dog apeared to be the one i had hit

so shortly after a man walks down behind them, we pull up to him and my buddy rolls down his window, as i'm on the oposite side driving

the man is an older man, but very chill, he goes on to tell me that it was actually TWO of his dogs who hit my car, and he usually takes them for walks late at night, he thanked me for not speeding and actually told me the dogs did not hit my front bumper, but actually smacked both their heads into my front fender!

call it good driving or just karma, but i felt pretty luck my skills helped me, and i wasnt stupid enough like most of the other kids would be in that situation to speed hastily down the street to drop their friend off.

 

i get nervous when i drive high. i just get paranoid, but that's because i was in an accident a couple of months ago. Now i fear people flying out in front of me because they are stupid and/or can't see me. so driving high freaks me out sometimes... otherwise i'm good at it. i'm more cautious and chill and very meticulous haha.
