Dreds and Jobs

Wow- so many replys Thank you all......
I still have not figured out what Im going to do. I'm leaning toward just cutting all my hair off actually since I feel I dont have the time to worry about caring for dreddys and going the extra mile to keep them "under wraps" which Im sure I would need to do since I will be working in a corporate enviorment. It's still up in the air, but I really apprechiate all your comments....actually was quite encouraging should I decide to put them in!

 

Well, all I can say is follow your heart. I am kinda concerned about finding a job with dreads...should I decide to put them in. I have some things in my life I want to straighten out before I get dreads because I want it to be a significant, symbol of me chaning my life for the better. Anyway, follow your heart, and if you ever decide to do dreads...you gotta lemme know!

 

I work in a bank... I would LOVE to have a nose ring, but I know some people would absolutely flip out. They already balk at the band of wildflowers tattooed around my ankle. Tee-hee.

I think dreads would be okay, as long as you are clean and well groomed. But isn't that the whole point of having dreads - to be knotty?

exactly........i want to straighten some things out in my life before i get them too.

and hippievixen........could you not just get your nose pierced and then wear one of the clear nose rings? they are hardly visible. Just a thought.
I have my nose pierced too, and will need to be getting one of those for job interviews and such.

 

i got mine done on friday and went to work after, everyone was like oh its so cute and then yesterday i got fed up and washed the wax out and when i went in today with it tied up even my supervisors were all like oh you didn't take them out did you??? mwahahaha...
