I heard of that quote too from Lauryn Hill.....honestly I think it was a media fabrication....When she was going corporate to sell her music the media tried to pigeonhole her into an angry black woman stereotype to sell records and gain popularity....Have you listened to the Lauryn Hill unplugged series? Its amazing and it showcases her in her purest and most genuine form....after listening to it I was convinced that whatever she said was spread out of context. Shes an amazing and talented woman! And def not a rascist.
