Christians arent more annoying than atheists. Atheists aren't more annoying than christians. Its the bible thumpers and the you-believe-that-shit people that give both sides a bad name.

Not all christians are out to convert you. Not all atheists are ready to ram logic down your throat. I myself am an atheist with elements of LaVeyan Satanism. However, I'm best friends with muslims, hindus, christians, and a couple buddhists (no jews though, they're not allowed in the country). I don't think its moral or logical to say that all christians are uncool or that all atheists are self-righteous assholes.

 

I didn't say all christians are uncool, I have some very good lovely friends that are Christians. However, a lot of them(especially where I live) are tools. And I'm not an atheist.

Anton LaVey wrote a book that describes his personal rebellion against the church. The first half holds great lessons about self-expression and personal success. The second half is complete bullshit and is why I would feel like a moron calling myself a satanist. The 'religion' is basically about believing within yourelf that anything is possible and that you have the right to attempt anything without fear of fail or displeasure. However, unless the second of the book is followed(bullshit rituals and supid shit like that) it is more a philosophy than a religion.
EDIT: Also, the book openly denies the existance of Satan within the first few pages.

Yeah its unfortunate. This place has become more western and accepting in the past decades, but is still really weird about certain things. No weed, no hindu/buddhist temples, and no jews. I think if they allowed and indulged in the first one they would come around to the other two

Hahaha. Yeah I usually don't mention it for fear of that reaction. I don't claim to be a satanist and I hope that the Marilyn Mansonites have read the book all the way through and legitimately believe it before they are "satanic". Poseurs =)

sure if you brought a white family over to australia, their next generation would be darker. over the generations the family would get darker skin. i thought this was a pretty accepted concept.

Is it seriously time take you people back to first grade on this subject? It looks like it. People with darker skin have ancestors from sunny regions. People with lighter white-pinkish skin have ancestors from less sunny regions.
Why is this?
Skin color is determined by the amount of melanin and the type of melanin in your skin. This is passed on by your bloodline. This could be favorable or not. If you have ancestors with lighter skin and ancestors with darker skin, you could obviously end up with more white-pinkish skin. Regardless of the fact that you live in a sunny environment or vice versa.
In conclusion: the longer your bloodline has lived in a sunny environment, the better chances you have of having dark skin yourself. As in the case of Australians with UK heritage, they have a lesser chance of taking on the dark skin trait if their bloodline lies with the majority of white-pinkish skin.
