what a load of crap, there is a reason that i don't come here very often now.

the OP your quotes about the creator and how life is random are interesting, and about the 2nd law of thermodynamics.

Can you actually tell me what that law is, or shall i just say that i've seen that film too, its called PI, as in the ratio between the circumference and diameter of a circle!!

Your unwill to look at the facts. The best christian that i know are the ones who accept that a lot of the bible is BS, but there is goodness and fair living to be learnt from its stories!!!

The BIBLE IS JUST STORIES, DO WITH THEM WHAT YOU WANT!!!

lol... The story of the flood is where I go wrong. It's scientifically impossible for a man to sail around the entire world, gather a male and female species of every living thing, all the while having enough food to feed them for a month. Plus once they got off the big boat all the vegetation would be dead rendering the animals useless. LOL... The bible is a good message, and the people that say other wise obviously haven't read it, but here's a thought as to how the planet survived... A global flood didn't happen!

More like a giant flood in that geographic region. Hell, only half the world had even been discovered at this point so how could Noah possibly get animals from North American, considering he was halfway across the world.

Animals survived due to Darwinism...survival of the fittest. This concept, give by god, was to ensure the species' survival... I'm pretty sure Noah had nothing to do it with preventing any sort of mass extinction. Which also leads me to another point.

If Noah saved his family and few a acquaintances from Armageddon, and they repopulated the planet, wouldn't everyone look the same and be the same race? Did he save all the races of the world too, even the Mayans, Aztecs, and South American tribes that weren't even discovered by western civilization until Hernando Cortez and the other bloody Spaniards. And the Eskimo tribes of the artic, I bet it rained there too. One of the oldest civilization still around today are the aborigines. They existed before Christ, and in on a continental island, that is large a desert. It was flooded there too right?

On a somewhat related note...Anytime I get a bible thumper preaching at me to cut my hair and shit, I just tell I'm like Sampson. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xShQ0SZdyGs

The OP is passionate about his beliefs, yet has never fully examined those beliefs. I'd say the day is coming when logic will outweigh blind faith. All it will take is a cursory examination of the churches history... Whatever 'facts' or good moral values are contained in the Bible have been completely negated by the two thousand years of massacre and bloodshed that the Christian religion is responsible for since. Doesn't take a genius to see that its 'message' has been hijacked. Maybe someday he'll see that...
