my girlfriend is doing the no shave november thing. im trying to convince her to not shave for a couple months even after november just to see how hairy a female can actually get. but thats kind of selfish of me to ask such a thing. but hell, im sure she would love a nice extended break from the whole shaving routine

meh... cant stop thinking about her tonight!

 

Well i must say this thread is different, personaly i dont like the hairy pits nor legs on my girl, the fanny, not so fussed, i actually reckon landing strips look allright

I totally doll myself up. Not having to do my hair saves me time that I can devote to putting on makeup, which makes me feel more confident. I have really great skin, so my makeup usually consists of black liquid eyeliner, mascara, colored eye shadow and lipgloss. No foundation of any sort. I am always changing my body jewelry/earrings, and adding colored dry needle felted wool dread extensions (They are the same length as my dreads, and I tie them in, nothing permanent)

But I shave ultra-occasionally. I have super-fine white blonde leg hair so you cant see it most of the time and my boyfriend doesnt care either way, so I would say once every couple of months. I never got into shaving my pits, and instead I pluck them & my eyebrows, I regularly buzz the carpet. I am a natural blonde, but I dye my hair black, and I get away with most of my body hair being pretty invisible.

My style is a mix of vintage (pre-60s) and modern, I like to keep things simple but nice. I wear a skirt 365 days a year, and including for riding my bike around. I only wear pants at the gym. My dreads are the most crazy thing about how I look.

I shave because I like not having hair in places other than my head lol but other than that I'm all for the natural... No makeup, dyes, or too much accessories. (im constantly wearing my favorite necklace... it's a part of me)

I think makeup makes people look funny...

 

I havnt shaved my pits in about a month...but its been cold and Ive been wearing long sleeve shirts. lol

For style, I dunno. I'm pretty much like a guy with boobs.
Makeup is a pain. Heels are literally a pain. Jewelry is a pain.
I try and keep the facial hair under control 'cause I'm really white with really dark hair and it's uber-noticeable. Pits get dealt with maybe once a month. Legs depend on the season - if I don't shave them the black hair on pale makes me look like a freakn' zebra.

Overall, I'm with Sarah in the lazy boat.

heels never - i'm already tall and with heels i tower over everyone. also they're annoying.
daily routine.. shower with bronners, hair usually just with water. no facial cleanser or moisturiser or anything like that

i have to get a permit to deforest my legs so it doesn't happen very often. too much of a pain getting through all that darn bureaucratic red tape.

 

dude shaving is for the egoic satisfaction of men to make women into pre-pubescent little girls.Its disgusting how the media portrays the sexiest women as the ones who can look the youngest and skinniest and perfect make-up and hair.WE ARENT PERFECT! I dare any of you to go natural for 2 months.it will change your life. i have never felt so beautiful in my life! ive been traveling for 8 months(stopped shaving when i left) and i love it so much! i used to be embarassed by what i thought was bad body odor and constantly put lotions,sprays,etc...now instead of being embarassed, i embrace it.

I think it's been about two months since I shaved my legs. Normally I would shave every m onth or so, but it's just not happening. Yeah... hairy legs!!

 

my pits are usually hairy as a result of an absent mind.
It takes me so long to shave my legs and other parts that I just simply forget...till Im wearing a tank top and lift my arms to stretch and I hear somebody yell out..."OMG she has hairy armpits!"

 

Once again I am glad that I live somewhere where no one even notices if you have hairy legs or pits. Tons of girls around here don't shave, so you just fit right in.

 

lol I don't like shaving my legs, makes em bumpy... so I model, and when I don't feel like shaving my legs, I wear tights or hose

Im totally fine with hairy legged and hairy armpitted women....it doesnt offend me or anything and Ive seen a lot over time....however, when I see them I cant help but to gawk and stare and sometimes even jump out of the unexpectedness of it! I was at my mans family reunion about a month ago and his cousin is a total natural crazy mountain woman. She lifted up her arm and a BUSH...not just some straggley hairs...but a full blown bush that is bigger than any man bush Ive ever seen was growing out of her armpits. I was entranced by it. I was not aware that armpit hair could grow the way it was on this woman. It was long...like real long. My armpit hair grows like pubic hair. lol. No but seriously...it does. It never gets long...just curly and therefore I can go months without shaving cuz its not noticeable.
So...Im curious...how does your armpit hair grow peeps?

 

I have very little, it stays short and is blonde.

im italian,german and irish...i think i would need like a whole pack of razors! lol it only makes insecure men feel uncomfortable so i dont mind making them squirm. although when i go back to florida i might get a lot more negative responses.
