to answr the lemon juice question buy a bottle of lenion juice or juicfe a lemon soak the dread then blow dry or go out in the sun repeat till light as u want u can do it gradualy to get exactly the shade u hope fopr
do you need the little things to hold the dreads together when doing the neglect method? like the little things you have wrapped around each of your dreads.
Stick with lemon juice. Sun-in will destroy your hair/dreads. Put some lemon juice and water in a spritzer, get your dreads nice and soaked, then go out in the sun (my hubby likes to do this before a day at the beach). Not sure if it works with a blow dryer though.
Sun-in will destrop my dreads? How? And I thought it worked with UV not heat... So a blow dryer won't work. I have a UV light though Yays ^^ And some lemons in the fridge back at the flat ^^ Pbfanatic, they are little fimo clay beads I used in the begining to smooth out lumps and they also helped the roots alot too Really easy to make. I'd recommened you try making 'em if like me, you can't afford wooded or glass beads! They are also so easy to make they are sorta throw away, so it doesn't matter if they break Unless you make a really good one xD I'd usually just use one colour, was quicker. Don't have them in anymore, started making my scalp sore. Thanks for your comments
Erm I'm not sure... I've recently dyed my hair a little bit and am going to try the lemon juice so I'll report back
lemon juice absolutekly does work with a blow dryer ..faster then with sun and thge results are alot lighter id preffer the more natural slow gradual way so u dont obver do it but if your uin a hurry to get many shadeds lightrer just blow dry i have no idea bout tinted dyed hair never dyed mine ever
LOVING the pics They are looking fantastic! Interesting seeing how your piercings changed aswell. The ceramic things look pretty funky.. fancy doing a commission Ahh bleach... I once tried to die my hair with domestos... haha silly me... Bleach can be fun... stick some on your hands and rub em together really fast! Gets incredibly hot! It is quite scary the chemical burns somoe foll get from bleach.. never had them myself.. Teflon based lubricants however... (Ahh tangents) So aye.. FRICKEN love your hair!

hooray!! they look splendid. and *high five* for almost nine months! (only a few days shy of it myself )
Looking good! About the lemon juice thing, i have read on Wikipedia (not the most reliable source, i know) that if you try this method and you have darker hair (not a prob for you dragonvine) it will make the hair go an orangie colour rather than blonde. Has anyone used this method on dark brown hair before with good results?
You look great! I like those clay beads, will have to try that out sometime. I tried lemon juice on my previously dyed henna hair and it didn't do a damn thing, so maybe it doesn't work well on dyed hair, or the henna is just a bitch.
But we love your hair just as it is Snowy!!! Dark hair ....green eyes.... perfect olive skin.....iy ya ya...sorry You are so pretty dragon! Dreads are looking amazing!
