Yes, that's true. There are many from Britain that are around the 4% range that are decent.

I drink Blue, pretty well the Canadian version of Bud, when I go out to a friends place or whatnot because it's cheap and the goal is to tie one on and have a good time. But otherwise I enjoy darker beer, which most often than not has a higher alcohol content.

I'm beginning to appreciate lighter beer less and less, with the exception of Wernesgruner which is pretty damn good. It was my introduction to German beer, which is now my favorite, they don't seem to make a shitty beer. Well, if they do, it doesn't get exported to Canada.

i've had my fair share of bud. i've been known to steal a friend's water and chug it between beers

 

I picked up a can of Gosser tonight, among others, to give it a try. It's a light beer and it's really damn good. Austria's finest beer according to the can. I'm not a big fan of light beer but this one is damn good.
