I'm starting to realize 'the one' is me and I'm okay with that. I just can't let myself get attached to people anymore because in the end they will let you down or you'll fall out of love with them. The happy ending never happens. So yes I want somebody to love but I no longer need it.

Don't get me wrong. It's a good thing that you don't feel that you need somebody like that, or in any way. But the happy endings do happen. It just takes the right two people and a lot of work. Nobody ever rides off and lives happily ever after, but that doesn't mean fairy tales don't come true.
