don't remember dreams?

    If you get in the habit of waking and writing down (or recording) your dream immediately then you will find that it becomes easier to wake up before the dream disappears. Almost like creating a habit but I think it is more that a small bit of consciousness lurks in the shadows and you just get better at pulling it out.

    ^^^yes, that's the idea, but i haven't gotten it to work for me. i need to start keeping the dream journal again though.

    it's supposed to help you recognize patterns in your dreams, so therefore you realize you're dreaming. but when i realize that..i get startled awake.

    yes! or tell your boyfriend or husband if you have one about your dream. talking about it will solidify the memory somewhat. same with writing it down. or voice recording like someone suggested.

    completely true in my experience. but i don't think OP smokes pot. i could be wrong.

    not strange. or at least you agree with two strange people on the internet. see above posts.

    I second the dream journals and will add the wearing moldavite to bed will give you crazy dreams.

    hmm i think you need to have deeper sleep

    also waking up to silence and meditating helps but don't think too hard because otherwise you oversaturate it with your waking thoughts - which are different.
