I did. It was okay. I went to Amoeba music, and I spent about $15 on used music. That place has a warehouse full of CDs and vinyl. If you ever go to LA you must visit Amoeba! :) Amoeba Music | The World's Largest Independent Record Store

My mother is something else. Maybe if I live to be almost a century old (PLEASE DON'T DO THAT TO ME GOD!!!) I guess I'll be something else too. smh She gets these political surveys in the mail frequently, and she has already asked me what I thought on every single question (30 questions) at least twice...maybe 3 times. :fearscream::weary:

So...this is what a purrfectly wonderful cat would look like if he had a hangover :smileycat:

When those jacklegs were visiting from Cali, I went out drinking with the BIL one afternoon. I very rarely drink, and then its only a little wine.

I drank 3 margaritas in about 45 minutes and buzzing like a saw. Damn ass got my special friend's phone number from me real quick by taking a pic of us together (me and the BIL) and saying "I'm sending him this pic...what's his number?"

dear God..I'm dumber than hell. I read it off...but I will say this - I didn't have to repeat anything. His finger was posed on that keyboard like a secretary and it only took ONE telling. If I'd had to repeat his number twice, I hope something would have dawned on my drunken, stupid ass that I should NOT GIVE OUT HIS PHONE NUMBER.

He didn't kick me to the curb, btw. lol I was so so so sorry, I am still kicking myself in the ass...he (my friend) thinks its funny now.

One thing those smarty-pants wanted was to meet my friend, and I did NOT let that happen. Perhaps that is yet one more thing that stuck in their craw about me...but I simply was not ready to toss him into the lion's den nor the snake pit. I haven't been reacquainted with him long enough to put him OR ME through all of that. good grief

They've pissed me off sufficiently right now that I'm not sure if I'll allow much interaction between them and him in the future either, especially since I know that is what they desire.

Minding my own business earlier, watching tv...and my cat lunged at my bare foot, and bit me. I said ''you don't bite mommy,'' and he did it again. And then I gave him a treat later. This is an example of what you shouldn't do.

Amoeba is great. I've been shopping there intermittently for about 15 years. Tegan and Sara! They were on a Tiesto album I bought "Kaleidescope". I think it was them. Actually, I should check lol

    EDIT: yep
