There is a divide in this country, and it's just not black/white, liberal/conservative, rich/poor, but it's also the educated/uneducated.
People who don't think follow what ever they're told, lemmings.
It's just more dumbing down out of this country.

 

Did you see him on 60 Minutes? He's going to build an impenetrable wall on our border with Mexico and make Mexico pay for it, deport all illegal aliens, throw out NAFTA and Obamacare, and impose big taxes on imports from China in order to bring back American manufacturing. And he said Congress WILL cooperate with him. And people are eating it up!

That statement is like saying...."Anyone that drives slower than me is and idiot, and anyone that drives faster than me is an asshole."
Trump thinks that only those that agree with him are sensible people. You think there are enough "sensible people' in the republican party to get him the nomination?...Maybe even get him the White House?

I guess Trump hasn't heard about the tunnels the Mexicans have been digging across the border. Tons of pot, tons of coke, tons aliens. Nothin' like wasting $200 billion on a wall. The biggest laugh is Trump saying he's gonna make Mexico pay for the wall....and all his supporters are buying it. What a fucking pandemic of stupidity!

Isn't that an entitlement?

People always drink the Kool Aid. That's how we got politicians in the first place.

 

My point being that both Sanders, and Trump want to give the people something for nothing.

Trump gets hoops and hollers when he says that he would call up the CEO's of General Motors and Nabisco and tell them that he would slap a huge tariff on their imports if they move their plants to Mexico-he say that the next day that the CEO's would call him back and tell him they're keeping their plants in the USA.

What he fails to mention is that the President has no authority to set tariffs, that this takes an act of Congress, and also that the US is bound to certain tariffs by the NAFTA agreement, which would have to be modified or abrogated by an act of Congress (with the President's approval, of course).

So, a lot of this tough talk gets cheers and increases in poll numbers. but in the end it's basically a lot of hot air.

Hot air is pretty much what got Reagan elected, too. Good luck, America

I used to like Kimmel, but he's become a lazy comedian, and a douchbag as a tv host.
I liked him better when he was Ben Steins sidekick. Hilarious though that Stein ends up on the Faux news payroll, lol
