People migrate for other reasons than just pissing off some sections of the migrated to country.

Some are escaping from harm refugees from troubled places and some are economic migrants seeking a better life, few have malicious intent.

In the case of economic migrants they go because they know they can find work if there was no possibility of an economic return they wouldn’t have become economic migrants. So if you think about it, it’s not the illegal migrant’s fault that they are living in another’s land but the person that employs the illegal migrant in that land.

Do they? Are they also building mountains of trash and decorating rape trees with the underwear of young girls? I seriously doubt it. A crime wave from Canada has not made the news cycle yet. So far India's only wall is on the border with Pakistan and not Bangladesh as well. Why not? Because the wall goes where it is needed. Look at the one that keeps the peasants out of the Vatican!

In your opinion Trump is not racist, in mine he is.

Rape trees...have any evidence? Rape Trees and Idiots.

Illegal immigration from Mexico doesn't take away American jobs. 1, 2

I don't know what you're talking about when you say America "deserves" to die off. We are a nation of immigrates if you haven't noticed...the same thing was said about the Irish, Chinese, Italians, Japanese, etc. I have no idea what you are talking about when you say you want to preserve the U.S. Preserve it from what?

Exactly, I don't blame the peasants for doing as peasants do. I blame the people who enable them when they enter the nation illegally. The same people who spout off with "but they're doing the jobs Americans are too lazy to do" as justification. It's a lie of course. Plenty of Americans would love to do construction and landscaping work. Americans used to do the bulk of the meat processing too. Not anymore. Those jobs have been gifted to people who don't care about minimum wage since $3 an hour is what they make in Mexico.

This issue is not about helping out poor peasants and refugees. It's about the rich getting richer by having a massive pool of cheap, low skilled workers who can work cheap INSIDE the US so they won't have to pay Americans. How long can Americans remain as charitable as we have been if our jobs are being dissected and handed off to non-Americans?

Ah, so it's all just a basic figment of my imagination. Thanks for setting me straight.

    LOL!!

Canadians are not coming into the US en masse illegally. I should not even have to explain that. Canada also isn't a lawless, third world country that's overrun with violent gangs. Comparing the two is simply moronic.

Its pretty clear: he's debating a kind of 'liberal' that's not on here (or at least not active in this thread). Why? Good question.

Mexican and Islam are not races. One is a nationality, the other a religion. Seems to me it would be racist to assume otherwise. As far as the ban on Muslims coming into the country, Trump said it was temporary, not perminant.

And no, I don't agree with the wall or the temporary ban on Muslim tourists. The way to fix the illegal immigration problem is to somehow do away with the gangs and corruption that keep Mexico a 3rd world country. Mexico is rich with resources and has the potential to have a bigger GDP than South Korea. Also a temporary halt to Muslim tourists won't uncover any information about Isis or terrorism; the US and NATO need to stop giving weapons to the enemies of their enemy.

Hard to day, the only hoax article I was able to see on the subject was the one you posed, a wordpress account. When I google "Rape Tree Hoax" or "Rape Tree Lie" I only get stores confirming the rape trees actually do exist and not just on the border, but further into the US.

But you seem to need to "prove" how wrong I am, so, you win! It must be amazing to be so right.

So where are these rape trees located, who has been raped, who are the rapers, where are the police reports, what reputable news agency has verified these trees, how do you know it was immigrant smugglers who made these rape trees and not someone trying to frame the immigrants, how do you know that womens' underwear in a tree means someone has been raped at that site, etc.

and what does this have to do with Trump being a racist or Mexicans taking American jobs?

It's pretty patronizing to call it racist because decent Hispanics don't support illegal immigration (or bilingual education) either.

Not to my knowledge. I'm of Italian descent, southern Italian on my father's side and northern on my mothers. I can tell you that Italian immigrants were not treated well, just as the Mexican immigrants today. They were often seen as the lowest form of man, below the blacks in this country. One of he largest mass lynchings in America history occurred when eleven innocent Italian immigrants were killed in New Orleans.
So don't tell me about how the Mexican immigrates are murders, rapists, and lazy job stealing so and sos without showing me proof. It's just another case of those in power reacting irrationally against a group they know little about.

I'm not defending anyone, I'm asking for proof that these events did in fact occur, I'm asking how prevalent they are if they did occur and how those acts reflect on the majority of illegal Mexican immigrates.

And I'm asking what these events, if they did occur, have to do with the assertion that Donald Trump is or is not racist.

Further are you and GeorgeJet saying that if these events did occur it means that all illegal Mexican immigrates are rapists? Are you judging a large group of people by the alleged acts of a few? Are you implying that if these rapes did in fact take place it would justify branding all illegal Mexican immigrants as rapists?

Are you really asking if anyone thinks that ALL Mexicans are rapists? Is that word "all" what's holding up progress? Because I sure don't recall using it. I don't recall Trump saying it either. So far it seems like most of the "proof" that Trump is a racist comes from some article that says Trump is a racist. This is particularly funny for me because I don't like Trump at all. I fully expect him to cause grief on the homefront and war overseas. But I do not feel any need to reinforce lies about him in hopes of derailing his campaign. As if I'd have so much reach, HAH!

I've watched this arrogant gas bag for decades. But I have also watched decades of presidential con artists and suck-ups to special interests. I'd rather see Bernie, but the only other logical choice is Trump if we actually want to see any changes.

"However, labor force participation among those two groups has diverged sharply over that time. In 2000, both reported a labor force participation rate of 67 percent. Since then, the foreign-born population’s participation rate has dropped only slightly, to 66 percent, while the native-born rate has dropped all the way to 62 percent.
It makes for a compelling argument that the increased presence of foreign-born workers is keeping native-born workers from finding jobs. "

Firstly I disagree with the term "native born"workers; the only native born are the original inhabitants of any country.
Then they jump into statistics; statistics and real life on the ground generally do not tell the full story, just the argument of 1000 or so people of the surveys choosing.

Interesting piece in the Economist about where Trump is getting his support -

MOST analysis of Donald Trump’s support has focused on his appeal to poorer working-class whites, who are assumed to have lost the most from globalisation. His victory in New York was a reminder that his appeal is wider than that. He won the Empire State by such a big margin that he could not help picking up the votes of plenty of richer Republican primary voters. But exit polling from those other state primaries where it is available show that better-paid and better-educated voters have always formed as big a part of Mr Trump’s base as those at the lower end of the scale for income and education.

On average, people earning under $50,000 have made up 29% of the Republican electorate in primary states with exit polls, and 32% of Mr Trump’s voting base. However, those earning over $100,000 have accounted for 37% of the electorate and 34% of his base. In Illinois, for example, he took 46% of those earning under $50,000, but they made up only a quarter of the electorate: he won 39% of those earning over $100,000, who were two-fifths of that primary’s voters. Voters with a high-school education or less have made up 16% of the Republican electorate and a fifth of Mr Trump’s base. College graduates and postgraduates account for 43% of his support.

Mr Trump does not have a majority among wealthy Republicans. But the idea that it is mostly poorer, less-educated voters who are attracted to Mr Trump is a myth. Only 13% of the votes in New York’s Republican primary came from New York City; the vast majority were cast upstate. Statewide data show that he won 52% of those earning under $50,000 and 64% of those earning over $100,000. Mr Trump may seem to be a champion of disaffected blue-collar whites. But there are not enough of them among Republican primary voters to account for his success.
