I haven't watched the video of it, but yelling racial slurs is uncalled for imo. I can see the 'get her out' chant, but not to the point as mentioned. Throwing her out on her ass with nothing said works better.
With that said I'm not going to split hairs, still has my vote. But you wouldn't find me harassing or physically touching another in that matter. They have a right to be there, but when they get stupid like they do, security needs to step in, not dumb fucks in the crowd. To each their own if they want to act in that manner

Americans used to extend their hand forward to recite the pledge of alliegence. Nazis modeled their salute after this. After WWII the pledge of allegiance placed the hand over the heart.

It's disgusting how school kids and teachers face disciplinary action for failing to recite the pledge. It wasn't even written by a founding father, but by Christian socialist.

Thanks for explaining that! Didn't get what was so nazi about that vid but now i understand why: the american salute has been changed after WW2, so to use the old one again seems dubious.
I always understood though that the nazi salute was inspired/modeled after the roman salute, not the american pledge of allegiance

After so many years of the same old thing going back to Carter, I'm glad to see a candidate on each side that totally shakes up their party. We're finally seeing American politics go off script. And so soon after watching it go ultra-scripted to get Obama into the top seat (even though Hillary was far more qualified and would have easily beaten McCain). While I dread another privileged asshole in the white house, I was looking forward to Bernie or Trump.

But Bernie loses me with trying to play race politics, especially telling the largest group of poor in the US that they know nothing about being poor because of their color. We've had too much of that sort of unnecessary, misguided targeting of people just for being white. At some point people have to see that it really does work both ways. So while Bernie tosses out a truckload of BS with that one I turn to see others try to make a few straws into a mansion with this so-called Nazi salute, David Duke and KKK nonsense. If Trump supported the klan, doesn't ti seem like they'd have better branding? And those uniforms, gads. They surely need a visit from Queer Eye for the Klan Guy.

When I see the right and the left going after Trump I can't help but wonder if we're finally seeing a non-establishment centrist. But then I remember that Trump's a big corporation psychopath wonder if I should shoot my sons in the foot before Trump sells us a war with the Turks and Caicos or South Korea. Hard to say that's better than Bernie's plan, to have Americans fighting other Americans, over historical events that nobody can "fix". When I hear about Trump's wall plan I think about the one between Pakistan and India. It's massive and can be seen from orbit. Like it or not, walls work, just ask the Pope.

I'm heading back to camel territory soon. I can't find work in the US, so I live in a man-camp out in the desert working for a UK company. I hear Trump talk about bringing jobs back to the US, but I am yet to hear an actual plan and he has only mentioned a few names. I want to know how he plans to deal with his friends and colleagues who have cheated Americans out of so much by outsourcing. Is there any real reason a plastic fork should have to cross the Pacific to be sold in the US? If we just brought back factory jobs for basic crap we'd heal a massive hole in American society. I hear none of this sort of talk from Trump or Bernie. I may have to take a coin to the decision!

 

I agree with some of what you say. As far as presidents bringing jobs back, well, corporations don't answer to the government Re: Apple vs DoJ.

 

A Trump rally in Chicago was cancelled because of mass protests! If he comes to your town break out the picket signs!

 

That thing got ugly. Not surprised. This situation has been going in a bad direction for weeks. The worst is likely yet to come.

 

I'm sure a lot of people think shutting down a Trump rally is a victory for things like Free Speech. It's not. It's an example of a mob stealing the free speech that is Trump's constitutional right. While I am no fan of Trump, I am a big fan of the rights of ALL Americans. Shoving someone out of a venue so they are unable to deliver their message is exactly how we got Nixon. People who thought they were shutting down opposition were only making it much worse.

Also, notice how none of the others, Cruz, Rubio, Clinton or Sanders is condemning this action. Look how happy they are that Trump's voice was made silent by an angry mob. I wonder what their reaction will be to an angry mob doing it to them? Will they just sit down and listen like Bernie? Will they fully vet the audience ahead of the event like Hillary, Rubio and Cruz? There's a lot to be learned about hipocrisy from these events.

You don't have to take sides to see that shouting someone down like this is wrong. If you can only win by silencing your opposition, maybe your message has a flaw. I see people calling Trump a racist and Nazi (why do they always trot out itler), where's the REAL proof of this? Without it all the claims just look like ignorant opposition tossing any jab that makes them feel better. Doesn't have to be true, it just has to be repeated. So much slimy politics and it's leaking into our normal realm.

I say let them speak or we won't know what's really on their mind. Same as the nuts with the confederate flags, let them label themselves for the rest of us to see. Trump spews more gaffs than Biden ever did. I heard the thing he said about the people walking across the border, not just the chopped up version with just the "good parts". To that I'll only say that it is not Americans making "rape trees" along the southern border. When it's a free for all, we have to expect a disproportionate number of criminals to be sneaking in as well. It's why India built that massive barrier on the border with Pakistan (you can see it from space).

So to all the people patting each other on the back for "shutting down Trump" you have accomplished nothing, he took the state. What you have done though is bring attention to yourselves and your tactics. Can you imagine if Obama was shouted down like this back in 2008 by hoards of white losers? And what if this was exactly what Trump expected to happen? Worked for Nixon in 68!

Trump has people who oppose him thrown out of his rallies. That's a violation of their right to free speech.

 

Yes, Trump protesters have been abused and assaulted at his rallies, so now the protesters are showing up en mass. Let's hope THAT doesn't make his poll numbers rise!
