These people are lower class, poorly educated whites. Trump appeals to them because he gives them what they think they want to hear. It doesn't matter to them if it's truthful, or even realistic, but they think it is so because trump said it.
It's interesting to me that conservatives always push personal responsibility, yet they blame Obama for their lack of personal responsibility.
Have these people tried to better themselves, I.e. Get an education, and hopefully a better job?
And it's ok for them to be on welfare, just not blacks, or Mexicans.
Trump says he wants to unite the country, but do his supporters?
I am part Cherokee, and part white. I am embarrassed for being white with these idiots around.

 

Not an excuse. My grandparents fit into that category, and they never considered behaving that way, in public or in private.

Speaking of personal experience. I have relatives from Missouri, some who never finished high school. They don't like blacks, Mexicans, or Muslims.
Adding to their dilemma, is that they are petty( or not so petty) criminals. They blame Obama.

I know right, what a joke. Trump can't be bought by the rich because he IS the rich. Being wealthy doesn't make you a bad person by default but Trump has never really done anything to indicate he is an egalitarian or a great philanthropist so not sure why poor people think he will do anything to improve their condition.

You know, I tried to give Trump supporters the benefit of the doubt, I really did. I understand where you guys are coming from - but after watching that video of Trump creepily chanting "get her out of here" while the crowd man handled a black girl and screamed racial obscenities at her, I can't give trump supporters the benefit of the doubt anymore. If you're the type of person who thinks that is okay I don't really want to even live on the same planet. People who can watch that video and think it is okay are exactly the type of sheeple (never liked that word but it certainly applies here) who allowed hitler and Mussolini to rise to power. I find it all really disturbing.
