Why I wouldn't listen to him when it comes to financial advice.

Born ahead of the game to start off with, then it's just who he has buddied up to, Brown nosed, or payed off since then

This was in my emails today....disturbing article which mentions Donald Trump...not true? perhaps...but I would not be surprised if it were true, either....

His comment about his daughter was a little creepy, imo...."I would date her if she was not my daughter.."

I gave that comment the benefit of the doubt,,,as we all say stupid things sometimes without really thinking....but it still creeped me out a bit about that. This article is different now....alleging DT to be a pedophile also...

The fact that DT was buddies with and "partied" with (according to that very enlightening article) the convicted pedophile billionaire J Epstein, tells me a lot.

Birds of a feather and all of that. ;)

PLUS, I've also read where Trump's alleged rape of the 13 yr old took place in his daughter's bed...how creepy is that?!?

I wonder how to quantify that sometimes. On what scale to we measure ahead? I can't deny Trump was born into wealth as are many families in the US. It seems that when families stay together, share resources etcetera for generations, wealth builds. Who knew?

When I was finishing high school and trying to line up a REAL college my parents surprised me by saying they squandered any money that might have been called my college fund. I freaked, lied about my age and joined the navy. A decade later I finally got to go to college, and into debt. But even as it was my parents put me way ahead of other people I knew. They moved us specifically to get into the best school district in Marin county. While I was surrounded by the spawn of wealthy snobs, I was still better off than anyone I knew in Redding, Vallejo or Napa.

I have a cousin north of Marin, one of the few people I ever heard of in Northern California living in an actual trailer. He says I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth. Fun guy to catch a buzz with.

Drop out of the race? I rather doubt it, and people will still eat him up...as he echoes the way many of them think and talk , too.
    Haven't you noticed?

Always just a certain amount of luck as well.

Warren Buffet has a big jump early on with the likes of investing in Coca Cola, at a time when everyone else thought it has reached its peak.

Now everyone acts like he's the biggest guru on the planet, even though he says the same stuff a lot of people do: diversify across a whole range of blue chips....Nothing ground breaking about that, or him

Yea, I understand luck, though I don't really bank on it. Which is another reason I don't gamble (the main reason is that it's a waste of money I could be using for veggies [IMG] ). [Stealth Digression].

What I was really getting at is where does the perception of someone getting advantages/privileges find dividing lines? It's easy to say that a guy handed a cool million has a substantial leg up on those of us who only inherited old furniture, books and a hexagon aquarium. If I'm a silver spoon to my stupid cousin, who is a silver spoon to a guy like Trump? Or a guy like Bill Gates?

Numerically it's a useless point since the lucky bastards who get $1M going out the gate are a subset of the 1%. But down below, the middle class to the street, I think there's a lot more variety to the interpretation of who is born ahead of who.

I go to CNN and to hear about the hurricane on real TV, and every time I do...It is about trump, Trump, Trump...SeriouslY?
I have to go to a weather channel to get the hurricane news...over 800 dead in haiti known so far....storm raging the east coast here....and all day...trump and his vulgar comments....What is so shocking about them anyway? He talks like that all of the time. that is him....
He must love it that the media seems only interested in talking about this garbage.

  12. I knew trolls online talked like that, but I thought they were being ironic.

You have to admit his most recent comments were beyond the pale. He's been able to make up cute little excuses in the past, but there is no excusing this. No way. He's complete garbage. This election is a fucking catastrophe.

Try to look at it this way...his campaign is finished; he won't recover from this, not this close to election day.

Not making any excuses for him, but isn't that the way most men talk with their buddies in the locker rooms? His career was not finished when the rape of a 13 year old girl was in question?...as if a rumor and not true, it seems to me the Donald would be taking her to court and su'ing her pronto.
But I am also commenting here about the circus that EVERYTHING has become...there was a time....there was news for an hour at 6 pm and then at 11 or something...Days events were told in true news fashion..if you missed it at 6...you could see it again at 11.....Now, the news is an all day talk , gossip fest, about the same thing over and over again...am I hyponotized yet? ....with no room for people to think for themselves....almost programming people if they watch. I cannot stand watching too much of it...I get the news mainly on headlines on the computer now, and read the headlines i find interesting.

The election is now one month away. In 31 days we'll know how badly we're fucked. Then again, maybe we won't have any idea.

For our grandparents generation, Mr Trump would have been morally disqualified.

Imagine! Somebody who operates a beauty contest; a gambling casino.

Who has been married & divorced three times.

A reality star? and all the trash talking

Old line church people would never have gone near this guy.

  19. Well Trump says his buddy Bill Clinton said even worse to him on the golf course, and I totally believe him as far as that is concerned. I don't really know how guys talk "in the locker room". I generally don't associate with morons who speak like this. I would assume most guys don't talk like this, as it is a really shitty way of looking at women, and I would also assume women are too smart to condone this kind of behavior in men. But I also have a sneaking suspicion that they actually like this sort of behavior and view it as manly.

I only watch the Young Turks which is on youtube every weekday from 4 to 6 mountain time where I'm at. I can't stand the mainstream media. If you watch it even for thirty minutes it starts to brainwash you. The newscasters are totally out of touch with the middle class, for the most part. Everything is right as rain for them, as they are millionaires and fit in well with the establishment. In my opinion it's just the state media and I won't turn it on.

I think Republicans are stupid as hell. Their whole ideology has failed completely. I think Clinton might fare better against Pence than she does against Trump, though. Trump doesn't have the support of his fellow Republicans, and nobody knows what his real agenda is, so it's tempting to think he would be harmless as a President. He's also a disaster, which is very entertaining to a lot of people. Pence on the other hand is boring as hell, shifty, and would have the support of the GOP. A ton of people who are actually excited to be voting for Trump wouldn't be voting for Pence. People are generally happier in their hedonism, as the right would call it. Even a lot of people who can see themselves voting Republican.

We've already crossed the line into the 1%'s world of debauchery. Though people say they're against the establishment, their way of life, whether real or imagined, is very much influencing the attitude of the general population. We are like children without parents. The world is ours to explore. We don't want to be held under the confines of the GOP. So on the one hand the establishment is liberating, but on the other hand it doesn't give a shit what happens to us.

I don't know anybody who makes positive comments about sexual assault, even in a joking way. They are interested in legal sex with consenting adults. They rate body parts and use profane terms like Trump does, but none of that is illegal.

Trump is a dog. He's finished.

Have you not read classless comments on this forum alone about sex talk?
I am not condoning it at all or making excises for it.
I don't surround myself with people in real life who say these kinds of things and show no respect for other people or animals, let alone women.
    but it happens...
    I have heard stories...

My brother. who is a man aND A GENTLEMAN...was at a party...and a beautiful women passed out drunk....a few men got toGETHER and said "Let's get her...now is our chance...."...for instance.
My brother walked out after telling them not to do that and scolding them.
This is just one example of the baseness of some people. It happens....People say all kinds of lewd things in this world....and DO UNFATHOMIBLE THINGS!

On another note, Pence is so religious and righteous that he won't even give that man a pardon, who has already been found innocent of the crime he was wrongfully convicted of. Where is his religious heart?

    pffffff....

Oh, wait a minute..i think my brother even got that lady on her feet and into a cab that would drive her to her own place.....now that i think about it some more.
