How do you justify your confident denunciation of other faiths. Proclaiming they are wrong, and none of them are as truly Godly as YOURs.

I disagree with the statement "In every sense an equal to any other human being". You are a completely unique individual who stands in their own understanding of the universe. Perhaps you mean something else that I do not understand (therefore I am not your equal in knowledge of what you mean).

Reggie White was a better linebacker than you, was he not? Were you his physical equal? Are you Socrates or William of Ockham's equal in philosophical wisdom?

Your prejudice shows. All asians are the same, all black people are the same, all white people are the same... One thing is the same, how easy it is to spot someone's prejudice against something.

Please explain why this is wrong? Humans make things that are less complex than them (condoms and toasters), God makes things less complex than God (humans, the physical universe). Ideally, humans will eventually be able to surpass their own level of complexity in creation of a new thing.

Nobody created God, however you can come to an understanding of God, which will answer questions you cannot answer without God.

It only appears that way to you because you do not understand it. The first step is to acknowledge God's existence, and then top contemplate why there are wars, death, disease, etc. until you understand why things are as they are.

If you care to read any of my 2500 posts, not one says that any other faith is wrong, not one.
You and I cannot have a meaningful dialogue if your sole tactic is to accuse me of things I never said. Once again, you have misquoted me. Consistently, you post claims that I have said the complete opposite of what I actually, verifiably, repeatedly Have said.

YOU plainly imply that Islam is NOT the one true faith and that the parts of Islams faith insisting 'there is no other god but Allah' ARE WRONG!

BUT ALSO

Most of the Koran is 'mostly true' EXCEPT anywhere Allah claims to be the only true way.
'Most' of the Bible is 'true' EXCEPT anywhere Jesus claims to be the only way.
BlackGuard agrees with Judaism EXCEPT anywhere it claims Yahweh is the One True God... then that part is false.

All Faiths are damaged so they can be called 'All Valid'.

Each religion is a dance for people made by God. If someone said the only true dance was the Twist, we wouldn't have strip clubs with exotic dancers. Just because your favorite dance is the muslim or the xian doesn't mean that it is the best dance, it just means that it is what turns you on.

The right way to look at religion is this: accept it as what it is- a creation of God's for humanity. God didn't just make chocolate ice cream.... there are a couple other flavors out there too. Although anyone who doesn't think Blue Bunny Chocolate Seduction is the best is going to hell. I like to call it the Bluebonic Chronic. There is only one true Ice Cream.

In order for your belief to work - you must cause great damage to many faiths.

You are implicitly stating that Allah is not 'truly' a God
Yahweh is not truly a God

At the very least - you are implying that The Koran is (partially) Corrupt and so too is the Bible. (not to mention other Faiths).

It does not work to apply consumerism allegories or 'selections' or 'styles' to this.

Mohammed Says there is only one true God and that is Allah.
Allah specifically states Jesus is not God.

So you are suggesting that Allah ALSO claims to be Yahweh and ALSO claims that Jesus is God.

To put your 'Stripper' analogy in a better context - you are stating that one can be both naked and clothed at the same time.

 

brocktoon, i do not damage or insult all faiths, or any faiths. they are much too solid for me to damage in the slightest, nor would i want to. whether called god, allah, yhvh, brahman, etc., Spirit is the same.

 

i have no dilemma, toon, regardless of your wishes.
