Does Weed Cause Halucination

Must be a regional thing. Around here, a "Salad Bowl" is a bowl packed with more than one kind of weed, typically when multiple smokers all contribute a bit of their stash....

 

I have had the 2-d realm thing happen too. sometimes at night trees look like stickers on a black backround

 

Herb does infect cause hallucination.

Most people that argue against that have never had any psychadelic experiences outside of Herb, and still think "Hallucination" means seeing multi-colored bears walking by and everything turning into a magical cartoon.

Hallucinations are anything felt by ANY sense (taste smell site feel hearing). When you feel fuzzy when you're stoned, that's a hallucination. When you're thinking so loud that you can actualy hear it and you think it's someone else, that's hallucination. When you can't see strait cuz you're so stoned, or even get tunnel vision, that's hallucination.


And anyways, havent you ever heard someone say "OMG..... My hand... is SO BIG!!!"

That's a hallucination.

Weed can make you hallucinate in high doses, doses rarely met by the average smoker. In India, they've used it shamanisticly for a loooong time, but you have to take it in large doses and through more potent means, generally in hash concoctions (charas). I think they eat it when they want to really get the full experience. Also, in ancient greece they used to use wine as a solvent for cannabis. The use of wine was mostly just used as a vehicle for the much more potent cannabis drink.

 

anybody read how dude ate a few grams of straight thc (keif) and tripped and stayed high for a long time


you can trip but only at large amounts

you might see crazy when you smoke but your prolly not tripping

 

ive tripped off weed many times. my girlfriend did her first time she started yellin out that she was shrinking.but here is my story.....

me and some friends snuck out late one night to hang out in our woods spot and toke up. well we started lighting bowls and lighting more bowls until we ran out of weed. we might have smoked 2 or 3 grams between all of us so just a mdeium amount. wel after the weed kicked in i started trippin like a motherfucker. i was just sitting on my knees on the dirt and i looked down and i was ona little square of astroturf( fake grass) and it had pine cones and pine needles all over it and i was jsut like holy shit guys we can let the carpet get dirty! all my friends were just laughin at me sayin what the hell are u talking about and whenever i took my eyes directly off the carpet it would disapear and there was a little bit of moonlight in the woods but i could only see the carpet when the lighter was lit. it was crazy. about 5 minutes later after the carpet departed my friend started talking about these little midgets that were visiting him from tippentown. so dont tell me weed doesnt make u hallucinate! marijuana is a proven hallucinagen(spell right?) and can make u see shit thats not there if u get the right bud. and im for sure the shit i smoked wasnt laced with anything so thats not an option!

Hallucinating and tripping aren't exactly the same thing. Tripping is the "Psychadelic experience". Achieved by LSD, Mushrooms, etc.

Haven't you ever eaten anything when you were high that somehow tasted AMAZING? or ate a ton of different shit and it all tasted like... peanutbutter or whatever? Yeah. That's a hallucination. Your legs feel heavy, that's a hallucination.

 

The helluciantions fromw eed though are different to others because, judging from my experiences and observations at least, you dont see thigns that arent there, you just percieve the signals sent to your brain differently. in the darkness however, your brain can put in whatever it wants.

look at some carpet or wood texture or something, and youll see like pictures and stuff in it. youll notice shapes. well you should, it does for all teh people ive talked to about it and it always does for me (thats one of my favourite thigns to do while stoned!). anyway when you actually look at the bench, you havnt imagined any of teh shapes, youve jsut poercieved the texture, just like joining up the dots to make somehting thats different to the picture thats meant to be there.. but with the same dots.

so msot visuals happen to be percweption things. in teh dark i was once looking at this dog house and was assured it was the begninning of a boadwalk going into teh amazon jungle... but then when i walked up to it i saw what all the thigns really were.

you get it i teh dark more because theres heaps less definition in your eyesight, and so your brain can find more different perceptions.

anyway i barely remember what im talking about atm.

i get average shit and i only need one bowl or a half a bowl and i get tons of visual aspects (as well as extreme mindfuck) while everyone else from the same shit gets normal highs

it just depends on the drugs you have done, and the person you are

the first time i got high, ebfore i had tried any psychedelics, music turned into visual shapes (and concepts) and i saw a tall city representing my consciousness... after i tried morning glory seeds i now enter a cartoon world from smoking just one bowl.. im very sensitive to the affects of psychedelics, and my point is if herb doesnt make you hallucinate than that doesnt mean it doesnt make anyone hallucinate

it's all about the pot you smoke.....my brothah's an agrarian and has raised the plant for 20 years......we usually go with a joint a night......as many closed eyed visuals as you can paint.....audial hallucinations much of the time (few word phrases or music)....as for the open eyed ~~> lotta times perefial color swirls, sometimes slight, repetitious movement comes to inanimate objects, ..... could go on, but i give the credit for these times to Lucy

after i smoked a big joint and about 5 bowls of very very good red devil my mate got from some bikies he lives next to, i heard a knock at my door, when i looked through the window to see who it was, a cartoon postman was stabding there, he kind of looked like postman pat!
