At the time, I was riding the waves of a deep depression (Bi-polar). He was there when I needed him and I felt that I did not deserve any better, so I fooled myself into thinking that he could contribute to my happiness. Things took a drastic drop downhill a year into the engagement. He has decided that his place in life was to become a career criminal and a gang banger. Over the years I have grown and undergone a dramatic period of healing and restortation in my life. He seems to be content within the confinds of his own inadequacies.
I guess what makes me wonder is the way it was sent. It is not a regular envelop, but one you would find inside a post office. Instead of a return address, it is marked, "Post Master", and stamped with the post office's address. When a post office receives a letter with an unmarked return address, they leave the space blank. It has been taped shut, meaning either someone had already opened it, or someone took special precautions to make sure what was sealed inside was not removed during mailing.
