does it REALLY bother you that our (USA) image has been ruined?

yeah. bizarre. it's usually disaffected sorts who put those on. i think it's a fascinating AND annoying phenomenon. i first really noticing it in high school when kids who'd never left the state of california suddenly started faking english accents. i found their attempts miserably embarassing.

 

preconceived notions of everything. I personally love america and americans, everytime Ive been down there. Every country is mainly the same, with people and good and bad things, which are usually not more different than any other country. Its just that the US ets alot of attention and the people in charge arent doing a very good job, so the populace has to carry bad reps on their shoulders. not really fair.

 

well it's not like the UK and france don't have truck drivers, tabloids and gossip garbage entertainment. i think every place has it's trash culture and soap operas. it's jus tthat for some reason you people actually watch OURS. what the hell for? i don't even watch it.

 

The destruction of America's image is mostly deliberate. That's because this country is going down the tubes and by design. That's why many of the big-wigs in the know are packing up and leaving for the Middle and Far East. They know what lies down the road. Before you destroy a country economically, you must first destory its once good name. Yeah, I know, I am a "conspiracy theorist." I am just telling you what I believe -- take it or leave it.

And don't worry, Canadians, once the US goes down economically, you guys are going to go right down with us. Many of you are completely unaware of what the SPP even is. The amero? Blasphemy! The NAFTA superhighway? Crazy! The North American Union? Nah, it can't happen... not to Canadians.

Well with films we dont have much choice at all these days.
And televisions almost as bad.

Screen 6 quaint( nauseating) English romantic comedy in London with Hugh Grant , a Scottish bloke , an American Hollywood woman ( with a bad English accent) and some Welsh midget that no one recognises
screen 7- art house French crap with lots of fucking with a librarian and fit girl( but has big teeth) who mutiliates herself half way thro- but the projector isnt working.

People tend to point the U.S. out in these kinds of discussions because the U.S. is an imperialistic world power.

You could claim that the citizens of France, per example, don't care about the external world just as much as the citizens of the U.S. Yet, France isn't out there killing people.

You are right, Pavel. It would (or should I say will) be a global collapse. This isn't a conspiracy theory, but the sentiments of very prominent people, including the Nobel Prize-winning Joseph Stiglitz, the former chief economist for the World Bank.

And I don't necessarily consider the "US" to be killing people, because the US is simply the trojan horse of the internationalists who really run this country (and much of the world) at the top. The lower level people have simply been duped into believing they are fighting for "their" country, when nothing could be further from the truth.

 

The US collapse will be disastrous to the whole world, This may seem a bit far fetched but it could result in a world war.

I just think of economics as a "story".
It can claim theres growth or recession.

It can affect the real economy ( usually does).
The problem comes when the real economy just cant do what is expected of it.
Maybe the 1st and 3rd world will blur into each other more.
That could cause some shocks.

I think youre absolutely right that these "patriots" Kissinger just wanna damage America's standing for internationalist aims.

It will more than likely coincide with it, because WW III has already begun. It just hasn't been realized yet. But the wars that are being fought right now are just the beginning to the escalation we will see in the very near future. So, what I am saying is that we are already in the early stages of WW III, because even people like Cheney and Rumsfeld, and I think McCain as well, have said this will be a 100 year war -- a war that will not end in our lifetimes.

 

Who knows... maybe something good will come out of this war...
