Even if all these conspiracy theories were true, why worry about it, because what the fuck can you even do about it? I'm in no way a religious man but one might want to take the serenity prayer to heart: God grant us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, the courage to change the things we can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

To create the ILLUSION that the people have a say and a choice. Governments work via what are called dialectics. They always create an opposition, or rather a presumed opposition, to the other side of the debate. That's how they control and manipulate BOTH sides of the debate.

It's a dog and pony show, that's why. Regardless of which party these people belong to, they answer to same same establishment and the transnational corporations that fund them.

The NDP might "PLAN" on "rejecting" NAFTA, but they won't. I will guarantee you that right now.

The idea that there's nothing we can do, and that we should all just bend over and surrender, is exactly the apathetic mass mentality that has gotten us to where we are today.

I for one am going to continue to talk about the things I feel are important, whether people want to listen or not. I don't believe the power to affect change resides within the system, so what people need to do is TALK to each other, because the only change that will come is from enough people waking up to what's going on. Only then can REAL action be taken to halt these people's agenda. It's not going to come through going to the polls and voting for Puppet A or Puppet B.

who knows if there is a conspiracy, though? it's almost like arguing about the existence of god.

I'm sure in some form, people of power and influence work together to benefit themselves behind the scenes, certainly at the expense of the masses. it just makes sense. but when people (like Matt) get into specifics I have to dismiss much of it as hearsay.

Well, then you haven't read their own books where they actually admit to and even boast about what they're going. It's doubtful anyone in here has read the books of people like Zbigniew Brzezinski, Carroll Quigley, and Bertrand Russell. Nothing I talk about is hearsay because it's all been openly admitted by these very people. It's just that, with most people, if mommy and daddy don't talk about it, or the media doesn't cover it, well then it must not be true. If they didn't learn about it in school, well then it MUST be a conspiracy theory.

Notice you don't hear me talking about UFOs and reptilians and all that other BS often associated with today's conspiracists. I talk only about what can be proven.

The NDP is a very powerful body in the legislature. It's not like they are getting votes because the Canadian public is getting duped and thinks that the NDP is some kind of false hope party that has no real power in the Legislature. I can't see how the elite are manipulating both sides of the debate. Not at all, friend.
