So, is the guy who started this still around?
I mean, he hasn't been scared away yet, right?

Well I have my own two cents on the origin of this thread.

I'm Christian, and I do believe that homosexual sex is a sin.

That being said, I do believe God still loves you and all his creation, and that it's no one's business to look down on you for how you live your life.
The only reason I believe that is a sin is because in God's design each man has one right woman (vis-versa etc) with whom they have been designed to be happy with. So it's not so much because it's some horrible wrong, it's just not what has been planned for your life.

lol It's sort of like, if you were told there was one person out there what would be a perfect partner for you - go find them!
And you were given the criteria
and first on the list was "opposite sex"

So you're not a bad person, and no one can blame you for how you feel.

    God doesn't blame you either

"God" as we have come to refer to this absolute power, this creator of everything does not give a damn. Why would something so great, care about something so trivial.

I pretty much agree. Whether or not it's even considered a sin (which I have heard debated pretty well), none of sin is even the issue.

God, beside this all, never stops loving anyone who still loves him. For that matter he doesn't even really stop loving anyone, it's more like politely stepping out when he's not wanted.

Eh, people can debate it all they want, no one knows everything for sure and faith is one of those things you can either accept of reject - then move on.
