When I asked a chinese person here at the chinese new year what year it was in china he could not tell me. So... it may depend which chinese we're talking about :mickey:
Also, there are over 20 million christians in China, so I reckon it is also true for alot of those

We all create ourselves but not before being created by others. You think our standing in relationship to all else means we don't create ourselves, which only means you'll have to get over your 'special' meaning for creation. ;-D

I won't insist you're anything you don't want to be. Everything is what it is without its being called god. Your god is yours alone. Share it by all means. Pushing it will get you and it nowhere. We're all our own good. It is divine to find we're eachothers also.

My wife died on 9/11 but it wasn't that day. Sept 11, 2015 is not that day either. It is not what happened on that day that makes that brings it to memory but the way you are applying your attention. There is nothing significant in death or mass casualty or hostility to point of violence which occur unabated daily. What is it you think I know? The perception of 9/11 as a historical watershed is purely cultural artifice.

You've made a symbolic association with atheists that relies only on the concept of god. The I am I call myself is the same I am you call yourself and we tell the difference through a peculiar name in association with physical stature. Our thoughts are shared.

Maya is a word symbol for the illusion of being as you claim you are specifically one thing or another. I believe God is entirely real. I believe religion is a misrepresentation of God used for petty human political power struggles.

I want an atheist to answer me this. Tribes, civilizations, settlements, all these different types of people from all over the world, before they had any contact with one other, found spiritualism. How could that be possible?


I don't mean to be rude, but atheism has always seemed rude to me, you can't even consider something outside yourself?

 

I can relate, but on itself atheism doesn't seem rude to me. If you just happen to have that belief, then it is no different in rudeness than the basic belief in a deity. I guess it is how you carry your beliefs out or how you tolerate other peoples beliefs that defines how rude a person is (wether theist or atheist) in this regard.

 

Oh I guess I do see how that could be interrupted that way. I don't hate on anyone for their beliefs or lack thereof. I really think the only good you can expect from the world, is that what you put in. Preaching is much different than the act itself.

But I think there comes a line when atheists boast about denying God virtually daily. I've seen it with roommates, and many other people. And I find it terribly ignorant. Not to say people trying to wave Jesus in your face isn't as well, but I don't understand why we as people can't just accept that nobody knows. Why is there this huge facade of being the correct thinker? You don't know shit friend, you're a speck of dust to the cosmos

 

I find being rude and willing to take offense to be identical prospects.
