Does Britain count as Europe?

    some british folks I've known have taken offense to being called part of Europe...never understood why.

    In my travels I have noticed that the UK has a different feel, but that's europe right? different cultures all around

    yeah, Europe is about the coming together of different cultures, but unfortunately the British culture is to cling onto their Britishness which doesn't really exist in the first place, well i am not english, british or european, i am me..:p
