90's were great for alt rock in America, it was bunk in the UK. We had Brit pop blasted all over the radio

I actually liked quite a lot of the 90's dance though.

the grunge era was GREAT.. but mainly because it gave me a reason as a pre-adolescent to be depressed and hate the world lol

I love grunge.. Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains.. so awesome.

But I love all music that's good, lol. I'm listening to Journey right now, and just got done listening to Flatt & Scruggs last night.. in a minute, I'm either going to blare The Unseen from my headphones, or now, Nirvana, since this thread reminded me of them.

Ya I grew up in the 90's. Everything seemed simpler then. Then again I was born in 1990 so. I just miss the days when skipping and drawing with sidewalk chalk and eating popsicles in the sun was ideal instead of all this ipod, handheld gaming system stuff.

Don't really miss much of the 90s music- early Oasis was good, not much else. Miss even less of the 80s period.

If there was any "grunge" band that was the most underrated and the greatest it was Gruntruck. :coolgleamA:
