Do your parents know?

my mom knows and doesn't mind. she knows it helps my headaches and back pain. my dad used to know but hes pretty weird in his old age and probably forgot by now. anyway, he didn't mind either

 

to be honest my mom didn't find out that i did drugs until after i became sober. it's too funny though i mean when i think back to all the times i went and toked up in my room or came home stoned as hell with the stench of pot on me she had to of known seriously how could she have not known. but now she definelty knows that i did smoke pot and use alot of other drugs and she was ok with it. hell i even caught her and her fiance (ex fiance now) toking up a few times. ha ha. but yeah my ma was alright with it and to be honest if or when my son is old enough to make the decision to try pot i would be more than happy to go and buy my self and toke up with him.

 

Yep, my parents know I smoke and they're cool with it

Funny story about the moment I knew my parents (well, actually mum and step dad) knew that I smoked:

I was leaving to go to Rovers one night (scouts for 18-26 year olds, so drinking and smoking in great amounts ), and had my backpack on, which had all my smoking accessories and weed in there. As I was walking out the door, my mum asked me "So, how much pot do you have in there?" (She suspected I was smoking for a while before). I told her I had about a quarter of an ounce, and she didn't really know how much that was. So I pulled it out and showed her how much it was.

She then passed it to my stepdad, who said "So, do you have any papers?" Of course I did, so I passed them to him, and he started rolling a joint really badly. So I took everything off him and rolled him one myself. So, I gave that to him and went to leave again, and then Mum said "Well, if you've rolled him one, I have to have one too!" Well, I couldn't argue, so I rolled up another one, watched them both light up, and left.

Consequently, they're fine with me toking up pretty much anytime, as long as it doesn't get in the way of my Uni studies

 

haha wow....alot's changed since I posted that. I've been busted several times. It gets better each time. haha hopefully they'll eventualy just realize to let it go

 

i've been caught alot of times, the day i got caught they just didnt know what to do, except tell me i'm killing myself slowly, but still didn't do anything severe which i thought they would, but they were already suspicious throughout the time i was smoking up, because after awhile (a year) it just shows on your face, but still when i had friends over everyday smoking up in my room, they never invaded my privacy just to catch me in the act even though i m sure they 100% knew what was going on in my room...and i respect them for that, until a week ago when we had just finished smoking up and my dad came in and for sure saw and smelt the smoke,
and even asked in front of my friends "where have you hidden the charse (hash)"
but i didn't reply and he went away, good thing he didn't call my friends parents,
my parents are pretty much chill accept the fact they want me to stop, and i m on the 6th day of my break since i got caught....soo yes i will smokeup again, but this just shows its not like i m addicted (as they think) and not bouncing off the walls or anything, though my appetite has surely suffered...

Its really hard to explain to your parents that its not an addiction but habit forming,
specially in Pakistan!! where anyone who smokes up is considered a dead end of society,a lowly felon.... sigh despite this many manyyyyy manyyyyy ppl (teens/adults) smokeup
it'll probably be more accepted when my generation becomes parents and have kids, unless they somehow get rid of all the hash coming in :| i dread that day :|

my parents have no idea. i get good grades , have good friends and to them that means that i am perfect and do nothing bad. if they only knew....!

dont ever get caught lol. because i had it the same fuckin way till i got caught. id leave the house at 2, they'd tell me to b home by midnight, no questions asked. now its fuckin hell to do anything, and they come up to my room claiming they smell it almost everyday now (whether i toke or not).

I haven't come out and said anything, and neither have they,
but i've come home after litterally smoking four or five bowls and just been destroyed.
I think my dad's cool with it because I know he used to do it a lot.

 

my mom caught me smokin a bowl one morning and all she said was, "i dont want u doing that before school." She didnt tell my dad but a few weeks later she came in my room & asked for a bowl for my dad cuz he was pissed off for some reason and "needed it," i walked in the living room awhile later when my dad was high, and he was just like, "when did you start smokin?"

well im not sure, but im confident that they know. but if they do theyre not ok with it. my dad is a dick so i avoid telling them, my momis cooler i guess, although she fucking psycho and could use a joint

 

R u kidding me. My parents r soo cool about it. All my mates say they r so envious of my parents, they r sooo laid back. They don't do it themselves (although my uncles a complete pothead to the extreme) but they have absolutely no problem with me doing it. My mom used to smoke it quite a bit herslef when she was younger (my grandad once told me that he didn't understand why she used to burn incense it her room, he was quite strict wiv her I think), she was a bit of a hippy as well. The ova day my mum had a load of her mates round. A few of them r up-tight baststards (the sort of people who r out to get as much for themselves as they can), I don't know why my mum is friends with sum of them. I was just lighting a spliff wen my mum calls out "you don't have to smoke that out there!"
"Mum I don't think it's very er-"
"Don't be silly."
So I went back in wiv this zoot, a couple of people just scowled at me and told me how I shouldn't do it because of how "dangerous it is." As for my mum, it was almost like she was showing off the fact somebody in the family smokes it. After a little more smokin I started to relax a bit more. My mum even told me to get the old dog stoned (which I did) so it could help her with her joints, no pun intended.
As 4 my dad, he's pretty laid back about it as well, he's a big beer drinker, so in the evenings he just drinks beer and I smoke weed. He's not bothered, it's just my thing.

My mother knows it and tells me that its illegal and that she isn't goin to take me home if I have been caught by police. She doesn't tell my father, he would go crazy, I think. He has never smoked. Anything.

 

^ hey, i've been to Koln! We got lost there in a little minivan and my dad made ME find a way out. Helluva complicated place... lol, it was fun.

 

Not yet, I found out my dad smokes so I'm slowly becoming less and less cautious with my smoking. I usually just light up in my room and don't worry about the smell.
